The daily special was the 6" shrimp poboy for $4.95 and included fries. You could not go wrong with this deal! Service was good and friendly. Crawfish was ok and catfish was a bit strong.

My wife and I both had the crawfish. It was decent, nothing to brag about though. Our server was rarely seen, disappointing since the place was about empty. The calamari was pretty good. Even the kids liked it. I probably won't be back, as there are other places I would try first.

Local food is always the best and the the best on the Gulf Coast is at the Cajun Crawfish Hut, run by Dona and Gus. They are an outstanding couple who survived Hurricane Katrina which totally destroyed their original restaurant. The newly rebuilt restaurant has great atmosphere and delicious food. Our server, Jimmie, was friendly, courteous, professional and an asset... More

Wife had the crawfish and I had gumbo and appetizers. Her boiled crawfish was outstanding and the fried green tomatoes were the best any of the four of us have ever had.

We drove 12 hours with three kids to visit family. We got in early and thought we'd go out to dinner and get a good poboy. You can't get such a fabulous food as a poboy in Oklahoma, where we currently live. We ordered drinks, appetizer, and poboys for all. We got our drinks, we got our appetizer. We waited... More

My wife and I ate lunch here, she got a Crawfisn Po Boy, and it was very good! We both shared a Calamari App. that was very Good! I got two Lbs. Of Crawdaddys and they were under cooked and very difficult to get out of the shell. I had to send them back to get redone. Was not impressed... More

While on a day trip from New Orleans to Biloxi we stopped in for lunch, my wife had the Cajun BBQ fried shrimp with sausage and fried red potatoes and I had the Cajun sauté shrimp with boiled red potatoes, they were both lunch specials and we were both wonderful, this was a terrific find!!

I think there is definetly room for improvement in regards to flavor. Average tasting catfish, shrimp and no flavor with the fried potatoes. Waitress was friendly and accommodating. Many other restaurants at the same price point in nearby area serve up terrific flavored seafood, poboys and southern food. Bottom line, bypass this one.

I would have liked more crawfish options on the menu. That's the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. We both had catfish entrees and they were great. Good ambience, fair prices, wonderful service, full bar. What's not to like?

Thank offcenterlarry
