This is a fun, funky little place with great food! The shrimp creole and angel hail yum yum are my favorites! My friends love the crawdaddy burger.

From the moment that we walked in, to the moment that we left, our experience was awesome! The staff were super friendly and provided excellent service. The food was off the charts, (as Guy probably said). We had the special, which was blackened redfish on...rice, covered with crawfish etouffee. All three of us were very impressed. The owner sat and chatted with us and added even more to our experience. I hope to take my wife the next time we are back house-hunting. It will definitely be our go-to spot, when we do move there.More

We had lunch there today and it was awesome! The food, people and atmosphere are great. Such great food, friendly staff and eclectic atmosphere. We loved it. We’ll no doubt return and recommend the etoufee and shrimp and grits.

This place is so cute and the decor is very interesting. It has an extremely laid back atmosphere. However, the food is AMAZING!!! We crawfish etoufee over noodles with a crab cake on top. It was PERFECT!!!!

Visited here twice already during the COVID thing. Just go in the door, place your order, and in a few minutes you are on your way! Food and service are the same as always - good food and friendly service. My favorite is their crawfish...etouffee. Man oh man - it is some kinda good! Can’t wait til the COVID restrictions are eased so we can eat in or eat outside at Darwell’s during some of their live music sessions.More

Great selection, unique atmosphere, wonderful food, friendly atmosphere. Favorites include grilled redfish on angel hair pasta and the cheesy shrimp and grits. We have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed.

It’s a cute lunch place with an eclectic atmosphere. Large menu of interesting items. The crab cake and shrimp were really good, and the smoked baked potato with pork was yummy. Not wild about the grits and the presentation says ‘lunch place,’ but if you’re...looking for a casual spot to grab lunch, I’d say to try it.More

As a travel writer I am constantly seeking the best tasting food and the most unique locations. Well, Darwell's is all of that and then some. I was thrilled to do a lengthy interview with Papa D, who is quite the quirky and entertaining character....We both had crab cake and ceasar salad, which was excellent. There was live music, colorful lighting, eclectic art, and that impossible-to-explain something that makes this place fun and exciting. Whether you live in the area of the Mississippi Coast, or are just passing through...make sure to stop at Darwell's for a bite. And if you get the chance to talk with Papa D, you'll be so happy that you did.More

We enjoy the process; order at the desk and take a number and sit in a family setting. The food is superb. Great menu. You can’t go wrong eating at Darwell’s.
