Good food! We all had something different. Brisket fries, pork nachos, fried green tomato BLT, and ribs. The ribs had great flavor- hubby likes them a bit more tender. Be sure to get the potato salad!! Two people could definitely share the fries or nachos....Atmosphere was relaxed but good for both dates or family with kids. Seating is picnic tables outside or screened in porch. Very friendly staff and great service.More

Currently on the road from GA, headed toward TX. Shout out to a restaurant in Jackson, MS named The Pig and Pint! Amazing BBQ and a cool outdoor atmosphere with blues music playing while you eat! I love the fact that they have sriracha on...all the tables. If you are in Jackson, don’t miss this place!!! Legit 100!!!More

Very neat place! Highly recommended! The sandwiches and nachos were incredible. Lots of meat was in each thing. Mac and cheese had jalapeños in it, but excellent.

I recently ordered 5 lbs of pulled pork and 5lbs of pulled chicken for a birthday party that was taking place that day. When I got home, I realized they had "forgotten" to put the barbq sauce in the bag. I called and was told...that it is NOT included. I was seriously amazed. How can a barbq restaurant IN THE SOUTH not include barbq sauce. I asked for the manager and was told all managers were busy and I would have to email my complaint. Of course, I immediately returned to the establishment and was met with nothing short of rudeness. Upon them finally giving me the barbq sauce (1 serving cup for 10lbs of meat!!!!), I instructed the guy that I needed more at which time he SLAMMED a larger amount on the counter for me. Let's not mention that my job had just purchased $500 worth of gift certificates from this place a few weeks earlier. I will definitely be taking my money somewhere in the future.More

Service was kind, sides we admirable, but ribs may have exceeded shelf life. Was really looking forward to delicious Mississippi style ribs. I can make them moister. Hope, for their sake, it was a one-off.

I had the bologna sandwich about 1-1/2 months ago so I thought I'd try something different. By the way, the bologna sandwich is solid, two thumbs up. I got the BLT this time and it was okay. A little skimpy. I'm going back to the...bologna sandwich which is man-sized. Overall, the service is good.More

In town to visit my daughter, who lives in the Fondren area of Jackson. Wanted to take advantage of the beautiful weather and sit outside for lunch and to maintain social distancing. Ordered our meal inside and then picked a picnic table on the covered...patio to await our meal. We shared an appetizer of smoked tuna dip, which came with tortilla chips, instead of the menu described pork rinds. Based on how quickly it disappeared, the change was not noticed. I ordered the BBQ Taco Sampler, which were one of each pork, chicken, and brisket stuffed. Each offered a different taste and texture, but the brisket was my favorite. A slaw mixture accompanied the meat in the soft tortilla. Make sure you get a fork, as not to miss out on the fallout from the overstuffed shell. My daughter swears by the smoked wings, which she got and devoured. Son-in-law had the brisket plate and my wife, the pork plate. All members of the party were well satisfied. Very friendly service and prices. Well done! None of our party sampled any of the extensive craft beer selection on this visit.More

Yum. The bbq was really good. Enjoyed the baked beans, coleslaw, and potato salad as sides. Banana pudding was amazing. Best part was the huge list of beers to choose from at the bar. Ate outside at picnic tables. Enjoyed renovated gas station atmosphere.
