I've been a long time fan of Mr. Chen's but I think I visit the grocery side more than the restaurant side! So many unique and interesting items in the grocery store - the only place I've been able to find baby bok choy. They are quick and the food is good. The portions are pretty big too. This is... I ordered takeout from Mr. Chen's and was thoroughly disappointed. The food was lacking flavor and it was very soggy almost like it was sitting out all day and then served. The wonton soup had way too much cilantro and green onions. Also, the wonton in the soup was mush. The beef and broccoli and veggie delight both and a... More

Visited for the first time this week. Roasted duck plate was fantastic, juicy and tender. The Kung pao chicken was my favorite. Only mild complaint is they didn't allow noodle substitution, even for additional fee, instead of rice. That was quickly forgotten when tasting the quality of the food. Hands down, recommend this place all day long.

We always eat here whenever in Jackson. The food is authentic American Chinese and the dishes are fairly priced. The service is always excellent. The place is clean. What else is there to say?

We have not been to Mr. Chen's since retirement, not being in that area quite as much as before. Browsing through the attached Grocery Store gave us an opportunity to transition into a great meal. This was a very pleasant visit and a reminder that we need to do this more often. My Wife and I decided to split an order... More

It's hard to find a decent Chinese restaurant in the area Mr. Chen's has stood the test of time. If you can stand the smell of the grocer it will be fine. The prices are inexpensive and its menu is that of a normal Chinese restaurant. Give a try, I don't think you can go too wrong

Service was okay, and maybe I don't know good Chinese... it was alright, not spectacular. Inexpensive, lunch with drink was 8.99 with tax. So there's that. Flavor was okay, if not a little bland. As for me, I think there are buffets that taste every bit as good or better.

Some of the best Chinese in town. Very fresh!! Small restaurant with ducks hanging around. My office has also used them for catering meetings and guests are always pleased

This is by far the best and most authentic Chinese restaurant in Jackson and surrounding area. We have lived in Jackson for almost 20 years and been hoping for a decent Chinese restaurant. The food is fresh, service is average but the quality is consistent. We don't cook with a lot of salt, so we have to request for less... More
