By far, the BEST Indian food in our area! I could eat it EVERY DAY and never tire of it! Their buffet is superb and no one leaves hungry. Easy to find right off I 55 S. Trust me, you WON'T be disappointed! YUM, YUM.

We’ve tried several Indian restaurants in the area and this is the best! Don’t let the outside fool you. The lamb curry is amazing, as is the chicken tikka masala. When we ordered, he gave us spice level options of: mild, medium, spicy, or Indian...spicy. We went with spicy but may venture and get Indian spicy next time. It was a great level of heat without overpowering the taste. Make sure you get some naan; you’ll want it to sop up the sauce! There weren’t a lot of customers in the restaurant, but we did see several people picking up to-go food. The inside was very clean and all were wearing masks. Everyone was also super nice and helpful with questions we had. 10/10 will go back.More

We always stop midway to Memphis from New Orleans when we come back from a cruise. This place was very quick and easy to find off the interstate. Good price for a good buffet.. plenty of traditional dishes and all prepared very well. Was a...bit spicy ( I know some regions have more spice than the others) but was very good... They only had the rice pudding for dessert and not the traditional dessert balls but the pudding was great. No salad bar to go with it but had one cabbage based slaw with other veggies in it that was good. It was a bit dry and would like to have seen more of a vinegar based dressing on it .. but I think I did see some sauces in a separate tray. Overall very good and when in the area I (we) will stop again.More

My review states that I came here for dinner (as I did so the last time I had the pleasure of going), but I frequent Spice Avenue most often for their incredible lunch buffet. It's a very relaxing environment, and the staff is sweet and...friendly. You are able to seat yourself, especially if they are not packed, at both lunch or dinner. The buffet has staples that seem to never change (i.e. yellow rice, white rice, tandoori chicken) but every time I come, there are new and different options to try. They offer many vegetarian items on the buffet as well. Naan is given to all customers who dine at lunch for free. My favorite vegetarian option they offer is the Dal Tadka... I could make a meal of it by itself. I've had the pleasure of going to dinner here a couple times, and while there isn't a buffet at night, the menu is much more extensive. You cannot go wrong with any of the lamb or chicken dishes. If you go at night, one dish will feed two people. Get a side of any of the rices to accompany your meal - also an order of naan (garlic or regular are both fantastic). You will find that the food is plated just as beautifully as it tastes. It isn't located, necessarily, in the best part of Jackson, but I have never felt unsafe while eating at the restaurant. The prices are very reasonable for the food that you receive. If you have any room in your belly after a dinner (or lunch), try the Kheer (rice pudding) or the Kulfi Pistachio or Mange (ice cream).More

I am trying this local spot for the first time. All I can say is, “What took me so long?” It’s the perfect spice, the perfection of flavors. Workers are nice and available but let you visit with your guest, still meeting your needs. Simply...put, we love be it.More

Looking for something unusual, we went to this place for lunch. The clientele seemed more upscale but the environment was friendly and we were waited on promptly, choosing the buffet. I don't know if they offer different beverages since they kept our water glasses filled....There were several Indian dishes with at least two rice dishes and potatoes, salad bar, vegetables and meat. They also brought a fresh baked bread to the table. I've been back and enjoyed the buffet again which is varied daily. Some of the dishes are spicy to some people but I was looking for something out of the ordinary. This Indian restaurant was the change I was looking for away from the traditional soul and southern food and the quiet atmosphere made for a relaxing dining experience.More

Our family really loves this place- consistently high quality Indian food, presented well, with incredibly attentive waitstaff. Always enjoy their freshly made dishes including naan bread. We always get the chicken tikka masala with basmati rice and the kids devour it. Start out with the...veggie samosas. I've have too many great choices of the menu to mention... give it a try and I bet that you won't be disappointed!More

Way overpriced for dinner. Buffet has very limited selection. I don't mind going to the buffet when I absolutely crave for Indian food since the price is still reasonable. I usually stick to their paneer, it's good but not the best I've had.

It was good to find an Indian restaurant in Jackson. The buffet had vegetarian as well as meat options and the food was warm and tasty. The naan was excellent as well.

Very Courteous and friendly staff. Consistency in taste is what i like and they keep up to it. Lamb Biriyani is awesome. Make sure that you mention mild or moderate spicy when ordering. Buffet is reasonable. Would go there again and recommend.

This place is so good. Lunch buffet is around $12. Definitely worth it. They bring out hot fresh bread, charred to perfection. The lunch buffet has an assortment of fresh veggies with a variety of curry dishes and grilled meats. Selection varies daily but the...goat vindilu (sp?) and butter chicken are my favorites. Service is great and waiters are attentive. At lunch, I can easily get in and out of this place in 20 minutes. Usually no wait to be seated.More

So we have been here multiple times for dinner with family and friends and the food is always amazing. The locale isn't the greatest in Jackson, off the frontage road going South on I-55. It is a short turn, a little hard to find if...you aren't looking for it, but well worth it. As soon as you enter you see the Indian waiters and staff and the tv playing Bollywood type shows (not in English). The food is just amazing, something you would have if you visited your Indian friends house and their mom fixed a feast! I am absolutely in love with it. The drinks come out very chilled in a copper type mug making the beverage ice cold and I typically order their smoothie that is more a dessert drink than anything. The chicken tikka masala with naan bread and veggie samosas make our meal. It is served family style with adequate portion sizes to pass around to a family of three or four. The spicing of the food and quality are always spot on. Service is good and fast. We drive from the of 463 near Livingston in Madison to come enjoy this for dinner, because it is just that good! I have heard gray hinge about their buffet lunch but have yet to find time to get there. It is on our to do list!More
