If you're in Hattiesburg this is a must! The lunch buffet is worth every penny. Down home cooking and sides like grandma used to make. Come early cause the lunch rush is huge. Plenty of seating and plenty of food though.

We visited this restaurant and were pleasantly surprised that we were allowed to bring our little dog onto the porch area.
Stricks has been in and around the Hattiesburg area for decades and is kind of like an old family friend. Boiled peanuts are a favorite snack of mine, and during my college years I could barely pass by the place without getting a sack full...More
I thought the ribs were very good. The restaurant was mostly empty when we got there. They had a lot of menu choices, and the cashier was very polite.
Called in an order to-go at 4:15 with a pickup time of 5:15. I called early so they could not "stress" with being rushed... perhaps I should have called it in much sooner. I decided to wait a few extra minutes and get there around...More
Patience, Thanks for your feedback. We aren't sure what when wrong with your visit last week, but we sincerely apologize for the unacceptable wait time and order. We are currently reviewing it with our staff to bring more light to the problem and to see...More
I seldom write a negative review. Plus, I am a big time BBQ fan, smoking it monthly and have eaten it at probably 500 restaurants. I went for lunch and had the buffet. I probably should have gone at night and ordered off the menu....More

I question the reviews of this restaurant. We had the combination platter. Ribs were half fat and gristle. Sausages tasted like hillside farm you buy in the grocery. Drumettes were hard, dry and no taste. Corn bread tasted like jiffy from the store. The french...More
Nita, We are very sorry to hear about your disappointing meal at our restaurant. We aren't sure what when wrong, being that we try to make sure our meat is tender and moist, and our homemade buttermilk cornbread is the perfect touch to the meal....More
We used to go to Strick's on a regular basis when we lived in Hattiesburg years ago, so decided to try it again on a recent visit. Their food is still of high quality and great taste. We each got a platter of brisket and...More
The lunch buffet here is great. Not too pricey, either. You can get everything for about $12-$15 per person, they have bbq, fish, chicken, all kinds of vegetables, rolls, corn bread, desserts. Plus, they're big supporters of my alma mater, too. But aside from the...More
