Charcuterie board heaven

WOW….just wow! We got the berry charcuterie board and couldn’t have loved it more. Fabulous array of cheeses accompanied with a variety of fruits and nuts and the most scrumptious flat bread with honey. My husband also got the Philly cheesesteak sliders and we cannot say enough about them. They were so so good!!!! We sat at the bar and just loved chatting with the bartenders. (Lauren was awesome!) So friendly and gave wonderful recommendations. Drinks were flowing and very tasty…. One of them was a Strawberry Colada and it was delicious. We are staying at the hotel and will definitely be back. We a great addition to this cute hotel.

The fries with Truffle Aiola were AMAZING!! We’ve never had such delicious fries!! The lemon drop cocktail was wonderful, but the Rare 8 oz filet was cooked more at Medium and the sautéed spinach lacked seasoning. We arrived early for a 5:30 meal and only one server on duty. He was very soft-spoken and appeared overwhelmed. Maybe it was due to COVID and shortage of workers. We had to ask for napkins and silverware when French fries were served. :(

Service needs attention especially with your menu prices.

Ordered Pork Street Tacos and Pork Sliders only to find out they had no pork. Service was extremely slow and spotty. They brought food out one or two at a time instead of bringing the food for the entire table at once.

Dinner with family in town for wedding and birthday celebration

Overall the main course was good but portion size for appetizers are misrepresented. The service was terrible. To begin with we had called and made reservations and they did not have any for us when we got there. We had to ask other servers for refills after waiting 30 minutes after asking the first time. 30 minutes after putting in our order our server returned to inform a family member that there was only one sirloin steak left and that it was being held for the owner that was coming into the restaurant that evening. Majority of the table had ordered the porkchop (was very thick) and requested steak knives, the staff replied with “we do not know” where any were. Per their gratuity policy our server automatically got a 20% tip on each bill but the service was not top level for such tip to be warranted.

Horrible service. Dreadful covid precautions. Dangerous and infuriating.

Covid precautions range from poor to nonexistent. No masks, noses out, flimsy bandanas. The diners are no better, indeed worse, but this IS Mississippi. Their governor is a dumb as a bag of hammers, what can one do. Service comes and goes. We had to seek other waitstaff 4 times to get service, just grab anyone you can seize. We would never have been able to leave without grabbing the right wander waitress (who also had a mask!). They make some deal about their cocktails. They served a Manhattan with Martini & Rossie. Really! Sandwiches were OK, and served with enough fries for 4 (each sandwich, what a waste!). Research suggested this was a high point in a food desert. It is a mirage, dry and dusty culinary death.

What a wonderful time and experience. Nicci’s perfectly mixed cocktails and the kitchen’s prompt food service matched perfectly with the beautiful dining hall and cozy outdoor options. I’m looking forward to enjoying another evening at Brass Hat. Nicci rocks!!!

Lizzie is a great bartender!

A few friends met here for "a drink" and spent a lovely few hours laughing and totally enjoying ourselves. The bar is upscale. The cocktails are amazing! Try the smoky Old Fashioned, you will want a 2nd one, trust me! If you can't decide what to drink, ask Lizzie, she's a great bartender. Can't wait for the next Girls Night Out.

Poor Experience

Stayed in hotel early March 2022. Went to Brass Hat for drinks and dinner, Bar had no white wine, no premium liquors, and the excuse was that the supplier had not delivered liquor that week. Could not eat the food we ordered. Bar and restaurant needs work!

Bras Hat and Hotel Indigo are winners

Wow what a pleasant surprise. I was in Hattiesburg for business and stayed at the Hotel Indigo. I travel a lot for business and have been in many hotel bars. The Bras Hat is a real gem. It’s got a great vibe. The food menu is simple but interesting and good. The bar clearly had a lot of locals hanging out. The service was excellent with a great attitude. If I was a local this would be my hangout.

This place is a MUST! Come in, tell the bar staff what type of flavors you like, and the creative minds will whip you something absolutely stunning and delicious! The food is amazing also! The ambiance is so relaxing after a long days work! A true must come experience.

The restaurant is incredible. Atmosphere, service, staff. Everything. Our mixologist, Nicci, is the best we’ve ever had the privilege of being served by. Phenomenal !!!!! Will be back for sure !

Brass Hat is an incredibly good restaurant & bar inside the Hotel Indigo in Hattiesburg. The food is unique and exceptionally good across the entire menu and the drinks and service from the bar are unmatched in quality ! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The WORST dining experience I have ever had in Hattiesburg...including McDonald's, and any other fast food place.

We went as a family-6 adults, one child, to enjoy a pleasant Sunday morning breakfast together. The food(when we finally got it) was average, would of probably been better if it had been warm. It was the worst service I have ever experienced! I am not even sure I know where to start, it was so bad. Waited and waited to even see a server, asked repeatedly for a single cup of coffee...then served with creamer, no sweetener, no utensils. We got up and got our own at another table. We did finally get glasses of water for the table! We had to make multiple request for every little thing. Straws, drinks with our meal, napkins, utensils, butter, jelly, 3 trips were made inside by family to retrieve things we needed, even having to pick up packets of plastic utensils so that we could eat! The "manager" finally brought our food out with a fly buzzing over it. When we made request of him(nicely) and commented on the wait(nicely) we were not offered any type of apology instead we were told they had to wash silverware because they were so busy the night before.. then he walked off! Huh?! The young man that was our server was very polite and apologetic, he was trying but seemed inexperienced and very overwhelmed. We could even understand if it was crowded...nope, plenty of empty tables, but we did see some customers come in, wait, then leave. There are some serious management problems here and it's a shame. We won't go back.
