First visit to Port City Cafe - was pleasantly surprised. Arrived just after breakfast hours, yet the kitchen accommodated me - this was nice, as I was looking for breakfast fare. Ordered egg whites, sausage, bacon, and the beignets instead of the pancakes -- very nice! Airy, light, with powdered sugar. Chef Kurt cooked everything exactly right, and the table... More

We had the omelets, which were very tasty. Priced a little high at $10/each (other restaurants in the area are in the $6-8 range, so not a huge difference). Service was a little slow despite being empty. Coffee is not great either. Overall a good breakfast choice.

Six of us enjoyed breakfast at Port City Cafe. The food was very good and everything came out well cooked and correct the first time. The restaurant is very roomy so you are not crammed or being disturbed by others conversations. The service from our server, Tiffany, was incredibly nice as she was really on top of her game bringing... More

Went to lunch today with two others; they had the Blue Plate Specials. Good value $9 for lunch, drink and dessert. I had a seafood pasta dish. We can report that the food was good. The service was also good. Located in downtown Gulfport. Location was perfect for our needs. Parking was available.

We were a party of 5 for lunch. My fish tacos were very good, but the service was a little slow and our plates were served sporadically.

Visiting from out of town and wanted a local place versus a chain. Food was priced very well $5.99 for breakfast, but as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Got our coffee first and sent two of the three coffees back. One was almost pure water and one was cold. No love in the food. Eggs were... More

We met friends here, it was our first time in Gulfport, we loved the restaurant. Our server was new but very attentive. I ordered shrimp &grits and they were wonderful generous portion and seasoned well. Think the other people ordered omelets, We were all happy with our food.

Food was good, but don't get hash browns. They were like deep fried potato strings. Plus they were barely warm. Service was good and staff friendly.

Come in for breakfast, lunch or early dinner. For now this location is open til 3. Locally owned and conveniently located in the historic district of downtown Gulfport!
