Captain Al's was recommended by our hotel when we told them that we wanted to eat local and they were spot on! The good was good and there was plenty of it. We started with a bowl of gumbo and a stack of onion straws....More

I had the Seafood Supreme Pasta. 5 shrimp and some very small crawfish that were probably out of a frozen packet and too much pasta, it makes it look like you have a large serving with a lot of pasta but very little seafood. It...More

Very good local steak and seafood, with good happy hour offerings. We had seafood, oysters and shrimp. However, we saw steak delivered to close tables and it looked very good as well.

We were going to another restaurant but found it was closed, happened across Captain Al’s. So glad we did, now we have a new spot for seafood. The crab salad served with the entree was a delicious surprise.

If you think being on the Gulf would mean fresh crabmeat, you would be wrong . Restaurant has a crab salad on menu. It should read : Imitation Crabmeat Salad. Long wait for poor food.
