Went here for lunch with a co-worker. I ordered the rib-eye sandwich. The sandwich itself was very good. The French fries we cold. Place was busy and the service was slow. When I said something about the fries being cold I was told I should have said something. Only problem was this was the first time the waiter had been... More

Very good. They have daily lunch specials. We ordered Shrimp scampi off regular menu. It was delicious. The crab salad different but very good. Enough don't husband and I to share. Plenty of fresh shrimp in it. We will go there again for sure. recommend you go. Remember this is not a fancy place and prices good.

This time we all got burgers because we were in the mood for them. We got a cheeseburger poboy that was delicious but on the small side as poboys generally go. The other people got cheesburgers which were huge and so delicious. Both of them were over 80 and said it was one of the best burgers they had ever... More

Not your typical "Lonestar", but with all the coastal decor, the steaks are cooked over a giant grill in the kitchen. Wonderful and cooked to perfection. The salads are awesome and you must try the stuffed potato. You will not be disappointed.

Recently moved to area and was wanting a good steak. We asked our landlord where to go and she said Captain Al's. Went for steak and OMG. Best steak ever. The house salad was difference to me. But, it was out of this world. Everything was excellent.

Ok, I used to love this place. I was so excited to see it was open when we stopped by. We usually hit it at the wrong time when they are closed. This trip I was extremely disappointed. It was not the smokey smell of the grill that I remembered when we walked in the door. Far from it. You... More

I live near the restaurant and have been to Captain Al's many times over the years. The past few times we have been there I noticed the service seemed to have diminished and they were out of items like the crab cakes on one occasion. We went tonight with my brother and his wife from out of state. We arrived... More

The ladies at the Institute for Marine Mammal Studies recommended Captain Al's after our visit. We had steak, lobster, and dessert for less than $100 for 4 people! The steaks were cooked perfectly and we could see the grill! The building looks like a hole in the wall but was definitely a find for steak and seafood. They also offer... More
