I must say we had the best time ever! The food was great (we went for brunch) the live music was very soothing and to top it off we had one of the best waitresses (Aaliyah) I have ever experienced on the coast out of...my 10 years here. She went above and drying and made the visit memorable. So go see for your self and you will see what I am talking about!More

Friendly staff, average food, amazing views. That pretty much sums it up. The food is nothing that will impress or make you crave more. I had the red beans and rice with fried chicken. It was a bland dish - nothing bad, just lacks flavor....Wife had the fish tacos and thought they were good, but have had better. The atmosphere was good and the views of the bayou was amazing. Pretty cool that your boat can pull up and you can eat and leave … but I don’t have a boat.More

Had an early lunch there today (10/6) & absolutely loved it!!!! We sat outside (in front of fans) where we could see the kids playing on the fenced in lawn area next to the water. The hostesses were so helpful and sweet. Our waitress, Cayla,...was amazing! She never rushed us but somehow knew exactly what we needed before we could even ask. She was so kind & truly made the visit a treat! Not to mention all the food was SO good!! We can’t wait to go back!More

Driving from New Orleans we decided to go here after searching for brunch places to eat in the area. 5 stars does not give this place justice. If I could have given this place 10 stars, I would. The food, the service, the ambiance was...AMAZING!!! Bottomless mimosas were just that LOL!!!! Our server KeKe was excellent she knew the menu options very well and was able to advise on what was the best on the menu for brunch (considering that I do not eat eggs it limits my options). We had a great time planning another trip back in a couple of weeks.More

Perfect place for any meal. We came for a late lunch and cocktails to celebrate a birthday. There was a 15 minute wait so we sat at the bar. The bar staff was very attentive. We were seated faster than the 15 minute wait. We...ordered the Blue Crab Fondue appetizer, which was amazing! Other plates included the gumbo, red beans, burger and chicken & waffles. Everyone was pleased with their meals. The wait staff was great. After eating, we walked downstairs to the bar/daiquiri area. They had plenty of seating and small activities for kids. We will definitely be back to try the brunch and bottomless mimosas (I believe it was only $16 extra).More

Great view over the Bayou from the raised dining room above pilings. A group of six ordered various selections. I decided on a bowl of Gumbo and a Dungeness Crab. All was quite good, and the Crab Plate also had corn on the cob and...boiled potatoes. With two Vodkas under belt, all was just fine.More

Arrived about 1230 place about 40percent occupied. Had to wait for a table. We went through 3-4 waitress (I lost count) No one could decide whose table it was. We were sat at a table for 4 and told them we needed a table for...5. We were told they were trying to figure out what to do even though over half the place was empty. Waitress who was not sure who had our table would not let us put the table next to us together because she thought that was another waitresses section. so the lone diner at the table on the other side of us offered to move the waitress said that could not happen either. after 30 min and asking 3-4 waitresses for an iced tea I finally got 2... We continued to wait to give our order while they tried to figure out who our waitress was. After an hour and 15min we finally got a waitress to take our order. Skipped the appetizer because we would not have time now. So went straight to the Taco Tuesdays thinking it would expedite things. Of course I was told "no special request on tacos since it would hold up the kitchen" So I decided OK I'll remove the cabbage myself . By this time the place was almost empty. After 2 hours and 5 min. we went to look for a manager, we had never received food or drink refills. We had two kids with us we were trying to occupy during this 2 hour lunch. Finally the manager came to the table and apologized. Agreed to get tacos with out cabbage and took TWO dollars of the bill. I left my usual 25% tip but will never be back. Seems to be the same outfit that ran the Marina Cantina, same food and terrible service . They just painted the place PINK and changed the name. I am a coast resident and eat out frequently. I will let everyone know to stay away from this place unless you have ALL day for tacos. If not go to Taco Bell, the tacos there are better and you won't waste your day.More

Mixed reaction, but mostly positive! I was a bit late so never got a menu, though it seemed quite creative 😊 I’ll have to spend some time looking closer if we come back. My meal was not out til 15 minutes or so after everyone...else’s, but I wasn’t in a rush. Flavor was excellent! I really liked my meal (variety of tacos) – but we all were curious, is the jerk chicken meant to be served cold? Still tasted good, was just a shock as the meat temp for all our jerk tacos seemed not like it was accidentally served “not-hot” but rather just taken from a refrigerator. I did watch my mom’s drink sit sit sit sit sit at the bar (not knowing it was hers) until ice was all melted and we were about to cash out. We got other drinks in that time at the same well so I just assumed hers was never rung in. It wasn’t busy this evening (5/30), so perhaps just some service training could make an enormous difference. Our serve sincerely apologized many times but continued to make the same mistakes. Yard games are a great concept! Kept both adults and kids entertained (and children gladly off the tablets!). The ringlight/selfie stream engaged all of our party too – very neat! The view over the water from pretty much any given point in the restaurant is absolutely gorgeous. I hear there’s great live music too, and brunch on the weekends. Lots going on and lots of possibility! Best wishes to the company!More

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Had the blue crab dip and crayfish toast as appetizers. Both were amazing and very large portions.

We just back back from dinner there. First they remodeled this place and put in nice rolling glass windows in place of an open deck. But what did they do- heat index over 100 and then had them open with the ac on, stupid. It...was very hot and crowded on a Friday night making it difficult to enjoy a meal. Even servers were complaining how dumb it was. We had the shrimp tacos and tune poke bowl. The tuna poke was very good. The tacos were extremely dry, think they may have forgot sauce? Worst was the wine pour, 12 bucks for a 3.5 oz tasing pour? It was a joke. Service was good though. Was hoping for better in this beautiful location, doubt we’ll be back.More

Bravo! Finally we have a local restaurant with something OTHER than a poboy. The menu was as varied as it was delicious. Yes, service was a tiny bit slow but not bothersome as our wonderful server made sure we were happy and informed. The food...was AWESOME!! My husband had a penne pasta with seafood in a tomato based sauce that I couldnt keep my fork out of. He loved loved it. I had a rare tuna salad with so many interesting and delicious ingredients (avacado, mango, toasted sesame) that was perfect! I'm a tough critic and can't think of one bad thing to say about this new spot. My compliments to the chef, server, and interior designer. THIS is our new go to!More

This was our first visit, but was my son’s second visit. He raved about the food and wanted us to try it. The place was packed at lunchtime, but we didn’t have a long wait for our food. The shrimp and grits is delicious! Also...the blue crab fondue appetizer. Yum yum! We sat outside as the weather was beautiful. Totally enjoyed the whole experience.More

We were excited to try a new restaurant and this one seemed like it was going to be great. Maybe it was the holiday weekend, but the servings were small. The side fries were stone cold and tasted like yesterday. For the price. I expected...more. They may have been shorthanded and I can understand that, but the problem was the price didn’t match the quality or quantity.More
