A family brunch

The food was delicious, the atmosphere was great. The only problem was our waitress forgot to bring our salads, and could've provided better service for our bottomless mimosas.

Had reservations for dinner at 7:30 on a Saturday for all adults. Table wasn't completely set when we arrived. After waiting 10 to 15 minutes went in search of wait staff and finally someone brought us water - 4 glasses for 7 people. Food was tasty but cool and we thought maybe it had sat awhile before being served. Waitress... More

OK, we have dined at The Chimneys for many years, though most of those were pre-Katrina. This was our second visit, post Katrina. While the restaurant has been rebuilt, in a mold of its former self, I did prefer the original, but it is long gone. The dining room, and front porch are elegant, and the service is good. The... It just so happens The Chimneys was next to our hotel. We walked over and had a great meal. The restaurant looks like an old antebellum home. It's beautiful. Our Service was excellent. I will be back.

I called more than two months in advance as it was important to me to have a nice dinner, served, not buffett. I do realize that while we are being served those who are doing the serving are not at home enjoying Thanksgiving with their friends & family. But I had not seen my brothers in five years and was... The Chimneys Restaurant is upscale, but not stuffy. Beautiful setting directly across the street from the beach. Perfect place for a special occasion or just a Saturday night out. The building is new (thanks to Katrina), but built in a classic style making is appear historic, charming, and cozy. All of the seafood choices we so local that we didn’t... More

If you want higher end, chimneys is the best restaurant in Gulfport next to maybe corks and cleaver. The very best meals I've had in Gulfport are probably from chimneys. The only negative I would say is that they are sometimes hit or miss. That's the only reason I wouldn't say five stars.

This is a quaint restaurant that was rebuilt after Katrina. The service and food was excellent. True southern hospitality at its finest moment. I would definitely dine here again without hesitation.
