Where to get dinner when you are in the middle of the state of Mississippi? The decision was made to travel west for about a 30 minute drive. We were greeted warmly when entering the restaurant on a Saturday evening around 7:30-8:00. Thankfully, we were told we could get a table without a reservation. The bar right next door made... More

we made a reservation here for our anniversary during our stay at the alluvian hotel. the tables are in these little undecorated individual rooms. service was slow at best (on a tuesday night). prices were high compared with other local restaurants with similar fare. my wife ordered a burger which was delicious while i had what turned out to be... This place is attached to the Alluvian Hotel. There is a separate bar and restaurant area. Both looked unique and high class. While exploring our seating options, we learned we couldn't sit on the restaurant side which housed neat prohibition-style booths, as we only wanted drinks not food. (Insert ironic pun here). So we mosied back to the bar side.... More

Visited with locals who eat here regularly and insisted we go. The oysters were very tasty, great crab cocktail. I tried the grilled whole pompano and it was excellent. The wine list is limited but has a few pretty good wines. The bartender Josh Whites is a very capable guy with a cool story. Service was good but not as... More

The original Giardina's was located on Park Avenue (50 years ago) but the food and service are excellent. Quiet, quaint, eclectic and excellent restaurant. Great selections.

Their Bleu Cheese Iceberg Wedge is perfect! In fact, I'm craving one right now!! We like to pair it with the appetizer fried shrimp, but they have other great entrees. Whether we eat in the quaint little bar or in a booth, its always romantic.

Got engaged here. I didn't have any great prior plans, but the staff helped me pull off a surprise engagement that couldn't have been any better. The food is great, the people are very hospitable, and you won't find a more romantic environment in the Delta!

The restaurant, which we ate on a Saturday night, required early reservations since I was late making them (5:30) but man was the food wonderful! We both got pasta (shrimp scampi and chicken parm) and both were fresh and delicious. Each table we saw was tucked away by itself with a curtain keeping it private. The bread pudding dessert was... First, we had a great time. Our server was hilarious and nice, and really a great person. We drank plenty of vino. And the food was pretty good. What was wrong? I started with the tomato and mozzarella salad. After three days of fried food I needed something fresh. The tomatoes and mozz were both good, but there was no... More

This restaurant reminds me of many restaurants in Manhattan NY. The service is warm and professional. The atmosphere is very chic with a deep hospitable southern charm. You have your choice of private dining for 2, 4 or 10. The private dining rooms have beautiful art work with round or square tables. The light switch on the wall has a... More
