First experience here was great ( 5 years ago). This time they were too busy to be attentive (reservation was made a month prior to visit). The food was fine but the service severely lacking. No apologies given in spite of no water refills, bread provided after meal completed, had to request dessert menus for known birthday celebration, no coffee... More

Thanks Queen for being the BEST waitress in MS! I ordered the scallops this time and they were excellent! The Ribeye is still my favorite and I'm so thankful that my husband orders it every time and is willing to share!

I love Giardina's! The restaurant has a metropolitan feel in the Delta. The Chefs are Viking trained and deliver the best top notch food. The bartenders are also wonderful making sure you are welcomed and at home. I love the calamari with a nice wine.

Where to get dinner when you are in the middle of the state of Mississippi? The decision was made to travel west for about a 30 minute drive. We were greeted warmly when entering the restaurant on a Saturday evening around 7:30-8:00. Thankfully, we were told we could get a table without a reservation. The bar right next door made... More

we made a reservation here for our anniversary during our stay at the alluvian hotel. the tables are in these little undecorated individual rooms. service was slow at best (on a tuesday night). prices were high compared with other local restaurants with similar fare. my wife ordered a burger which was delicious while i had what turned out to be... This place is attached to the Alluvian Hotel. There is a separate bar and restaurant area. Both looked unique and high class. While exploring our seating options, we learned we couldn't sit on the restaurant side which housed neat prohibition-style booths, as we only wanted drinks not food. (Insert ironic pun here). So we mosied back to the bar side.... More

Ordered a "jumbo shrimp on angel pasta" for $24.00. No bread, no salad, no soup. Any of these side items would be another $6 or $8. Volume of food was very small. 5 "jumbo" shrimps at most were medium size. Veins were not completely removed and had strong muddy taste. This dish should be a Italian dish. But no typical... More

Visited with locals who eat here regularly and insisted we go. The oysters were very tasty, great crab cocktail. I tried the grilled whole pompano and it was excellent. The wine list is limited but has a few pretty good wines. The bartender Josh Whites is a very capable guy with a cool story. Service was good but not as... More

The original Giardina's was located on Park Avenue (50 years ago) but the food and service are excellent. Quiet, quaint, eclectic and excellent restaurant. Great selections.

Their Bleu Cheese Iceberg Wedge is perfect! In fact, I'm craving one right now!! We like to pair it with the appetizer fried shrimp, but they have other great entrees. Whether we eat in the quaint little bar or in a booth, its always romantic.
