We go there at least 3 times a month for a quick office lunch. Food always good. Known for its fried chicken. The line will be out the door so get there early! They have a blue plate every day of week. I had their poppy seed chicken on Monday. Very good! and their strawberry cake is to die for

Primos is family-owned and operated. It is one of those treasures that mostly locals know about. I could eat every meal there! The food is always tasty and prompt. The prices are very reasonable. The environment is clean, neat and pleasant. The menu selections are outstanding. This is the kind of place we don't know about except by quizzing the... More

Why go to chain for a meal when there are local restaurants like this one? Super service this morning for breakfast. Hot biscuits, scrambled eggs, ham, and creamy grits. Nice surroundings, convientent to Interstate 55 & hospitals.. They do food right.

This is a fabulous local place, but I especially love the cake and the sweets. On my way to the airport, I always stop for petit fours. You can't even find anything like them in other parts of the country!

Whenever I end up in Jackson, MS I MUST go by Primos Bakery. I'm in love with their Gingerbread men! I live in Florida so I usually buy all they have!! On my last visit I decided to try a piece of caramel cake! Oh my!!! To die for!! Now that is added to my (gotta have) list!

My extended family tried to eat here at about 12:30 PM one Saturday. The restaurant was packed but we were eventually able to put several tables together. The most alarming this was that the waiters and kitchen staff delivering the food were not very friendly. While waiting they acted like you were in there way even though they could have... More

On a recent overnight trip to Jackson I enjoyed having breakfast at Primos, a place I have enjoyed since college days in the 60s (same name, same family, different location). They have a great breakfast and know how to do grits "just right". Highly recommend.

I have met here mostly every Friday Morning with a group of my friends for Bible Study Breakfast. The larger booths provide room for as many as 8 people without crowding. This restaurant appears to be very popular with others enjoying a similar experience, but it can occasionally be a little on the loud side when near to very Full,... More
