Had dinner here on first night in area with RC Club. Recommend by camp manager. Inexpensive local seafood and raw oysters. Very relaxed atmosphere. Clean enough for all of us and no complaints on food from anyone.
Dinner on the back deck is one of our special treats when we visit. My husband enjoys the oysters on the half shell and the shrimp poboy. For me it's the muffletta with a cup of gumbo. Cold beer tops it all off

One of the locals suggested we try Mikies on the Bayou. It was about 15 minutes away and worth the drive. Sitting on the bayou...very pretty area. Generous seatfood platters for $20 are you kidding me? The food was Very good.
