we tried several meals amongst family and everything was excellent. Voodoo shrimp, shrimp and grits, seared tuna, crab claws, and shrimp PO boy. Tuna was perfect temp and had a very good dipping sauce. All fried food tasted like it was cooked in fresh oil. Atmosphere is really nice. Price is reasonable for the product you receive. We will be... More

My family and I had a great lunch here! We were very impressed with the food and were pleased with the portion sizes for kids! This was a good experience for us all!

Half Shell Oyster House located inside the Hard Rock Casino is a short walk from the Beau Rivage where we stayed. The meal was delicious and the service was second to none. The atmosphere was that of a 5 star restaurant in any big city. The filet and lobster were cooked to perfection and I actually had dessert, which ordinarily... More

Enjoyed the gumbo as well. Nice service and an easy walk from the Beau. Would definitely recommend - in fact we did and another couple dined here for a late lunch on the same day.

Service was good, prices are reasonable, plenty to choose from on menu. We were there on a Sunday night--immediately seated even though we did not have a reservation.

Best food ever. Our server Phong even better. Wanted to take him home with us. Will drive the 61/2 hours from home just for the amazing food and phenomenal service

Excellent seafood and substantially better than the food at the nearby casinos. The charbroiled oysters and fish were the highlights of the menu. My wife does not normally enjoy fish, but I persuaded her to try some of the fresh snapper and she ate her whole plate. I had local caught red fish which was also excellent.

If first impressions were the deciding factor we would have left within 10 min of walking in BUT we met some really interesting people, had a few tasty drinks and the food...the food was amazing.

Unfortunately, the dirty tables and condiment containers detract from what is a reasonably good Gulf Coast seafood restaurant ambiance. The BBQ shrimp was one of the worst I've ever had and I've had this dish at over 25 restaurants. The service was sluggish. This could be a good restaurant with the right management and chef.

It was a nicely decorated restaurant very comfortable and friendly for sure. Had some nice views. The food was really pretty good and the prices were reasonable as well especially for the Gulf Coast.
