Do not order the "Ceasar Salad." They charge $15 for a small house salad. It is dry, and it is by far the worst so-called Ceasar salad I have ever had.

We went yesterday for a late lunch and the pastrami collard green sandwich was amazing! I haven't seen that on their menu before, but I'll definitely be getting it again soon. Server recommended the South African sparkling chardonnay and it was wonderful (although a bit...pricey) as well! Husband got the caesar salad and it had lump crabmeat in it. Definitely added a great touch to it. The server was very attentive, so that's always a plus. We've eaten there many times before, and we're never disappointed. Their steaks and oysters are always awesome, but we decided to try something different this time. Thanks for a great afternoon.More

Our server, Tracy was amazing, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. She helps us pick out some wine and cocktails. Our food was incredible, we tried the peach appetizer since it sounded like something we hadn’t had before, the blend of flavors was delicious. Our meal didn’t...disappoint either, we had the surf n turf sooo good. The presentation was appetizing and entertaining. Highly recommend.More

Our first time here and have friends who suggested we try it. As expected, Saturday evening is busy and finding a parking spot nearby is difficult. This is a nice, trendy, well decorated place and the hostess/wait staff were very friendly and service prompt. We...were seated at a table for two and my chair faced a wall so evaluating the atmosphere and ambience is difficult as my view was limited. We ordered chargrilled oysters for an appetizer which were very good. We decided to share the chef's special, surf and turf and requested the filet be split for medium for me and done (no pink) for my wife. Dinner was served with the steaks having a flaming spring of rosemary (I think) on top, along with a crab cake, grilled shrimp and asparagus. My wife's filet was served still bloody and mine was cooked fine, but all the dishes were somewhat bland, especially the steak and the crab cake. Shrimp was okay and asparagus was okay. All in all, we enjoyed our evening yet felt the value was not there for the food.More

Ran up to the restaurant.. 5 minutes BEFORE 9:00, on a SATURDAY night, and they wouldn’t serve us!!! TOO LATE!!!! Went to the FABULOUS Thorny Oyster instead (highly recommend!!) I guess good for you Fields that you don’t need business….but why be in business?? Good...note, Fields has fabulous food. Disappointed in service, though!!! One year anniversary for us that we wanted to spend in there. Very disappointed.More

As tropical storm Claudette was approaching landfall we fought the wind and rain to get into Fields and I’m sure glad we did. We had a great meal. Our waiter was awesome, couldn’t ask for any better service. We started off with some chargrilled oysters...followed by a ribeye with bacon Mac and cheese for me and a filet with truffle fries for my wife. Both steaks were cooked and seasoned perfectly and the sides were great. It’s a restaurant we’ll be going back to for sure.More

Nothing special at all. The steak was over cooked - the char was pretty much "burn." The mashed potatoes had little taste. The gumbo was good, as were the fried cornbread muffins. Service was "inattentive" at best.

This was the third restaurant we have tried in this location. Either the building is cursed or it’s the same restauranteur on the third strike. From the over crowded “COVID gauntlet” bar area one has to maneuver to enter the business to the joke of...a $16 dollar dessert, the experience was a complete waste of time and money. Even the phone call to make the reservation was odd. We were told, there was one opening left at 5:00, but the dining area was empty most of the hour and a half we were there. Not complaining about the empty dining room though, it was a relief after walking though the Petri dish entryway. The crab claws were just okay, and had a vinegar taste. The white pizza was extremely under cooked, and tasted like melted cheese on gummy dough. We decided not to spend money on the steaks at this point, but did try too give it one last try with the “special” strawberry panna cotta. Someone forgot to add flavor to the gelatin dome, which was sitting atop a TastyKake dessert shell. The tiny smear of strawberry purée and 4 fresh strawberry quarters were the only things to have favor on the plate. Our server offered to make changes on the pizza and dessert, but the vibe was so off from the beginning, we just wanted to give them the $100 and make our exit.More

Loved this place. So very delicious. They do all kinds of weeknight specials, one of the nights a prime rib deal, another a steak night... those nights are definitely more affordable as the place is pricey (but worth it!). I love their steaks and my...kids love their brick oven pizzas!More

Our dining experience was exceptional! Food was melt in your mouth delicious and the service was awesome. We spent the week in The Pass and had several people suggest Field's. They didn't disappoint and we'll be back the next time we're in the area. Being...from Iowa it's hard to find a good steak in the South. Field's is the place hands down. Thank you Joey and Adam for the awesome service, you guys are the best!!More

Worst! . The oysters were awesome! The steaks needed flavor. Very bland. Mashed potatoes extremely bland. Our waiter. Got alot wrong . Including the bill but was extremely nice. Let me start from there. So most people atleast I do and alot of people I...know when you have people in your family who love to spend spend, spend. You tend to have multiple checking accounts. Atleast I do. Because im in charge of the bills. I detest being late , I refuse to to be late. I refuse to have anything negative. Oh this is the fun part we were there last night Oct 14th 2020. Hi Joey. I called the regional vp. And the owner, and ps. Recorded you !. Rude how dare you tell me how to do my bills ! Yup. People this is the general manager of the place running the business. Just to let you know. But I'll finish. So I took my husband out for dinner. Transferred money over to that account to cover dinner. 100. Even. Some tip. Paid the REST OF THE TIP IN CASH , mind you no cocktails steak specials two for 30. They over charged me. I had Transferred money to pay my mortgage, and car insurance on that account. Enough just to cover those with a few bucks in the account. Its a spare account. Just to make sure bills get paid . Well the gm of the restaurant tried telling me how to do my own banking and that after that he found out that THEY WERE WRONG THEY PUT THE MONEY BACK IN . WELL LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, WE ALL KNOW THAT IT TAKES MORE THAN 2 DAYS TO PUT MONEY BACK INTO A ACCOUNT WHEN PULLED. SO LIE #2 . he never apologized to me. Yelled at me interrupted me . Constantly. I left a message with the regional vp. The owner, if I do not hear from either one , WHICH HE WOULD NOT GIVE ME A NAME OF THE REGIONAL. VP. .I will be in touch with the bbb. N other agencies. I have been a gm for 20+ years i would never talk to my dog that way. I just wish I was able to record the whole conversation from the beginning. This cost me money not only from my bank bouncing. But the actual accounts I have with the mortgage and insurance , he said it wasn't his fault did nothing to try to solve it. Didnt care. I have that recorded!!!!!! I could not believe that . And here i was getting ready to pay for a entire family party for my mom and dad to celebrate them because its basically going to be my dads last birthday, he's dying, he didnt know that, I never said 1 word. He's on his death bed was going to bring the whole family there. Because that's where he had heard from my daughter, im not going to say why. But he wanted to go. And now no. Joey I hope you read this I hope u see this im not done here. Im going to every forum. Im not stopping here!!!! I better hear from the regional vp. And the owner, im going to play what I Recorded. Especially you telling me how to do my own banking. They wld find that extremely interesting!!!! I make sure my bills are payed ! I'm anal I dont sleep unless my stuff is taken care of. Thats why I live a nice life. My husband is a spender. Thats exactly why I told you seperate accounts. I have 5. Not that any OF MY BANKING IS ANY OF YOUR BUSINESS, AND FOR YOUR INFORMATION, YOU SAID YOU PUT THE MONEY BACK**** ITS STILL NOT BACK IN THE ACCT. THE BANK SAID IF** AND * IT WAS THERE BY 5 IT CLD BE REVERED IN FEES. IT TAKES A FEW DAYS . You don't know banking. Im a gm in banking. Like I told you on the phone. You don't know you job. Don't blow smoke up someone's butt! I better get a call or I will go further!More

This was a diamond in the rough! Recommended by a server at another restaurant, this place did not disappoint. You can easily drive by this restaurant and think it is a rinky dink hole in the wall.....you would be mistaken. Excellent, upscale steakhouse that is...clean, vibrant, and somewhat eclectic. Creative type menu is a little light on the seafood. My only disappointment, being a bourbon snob, was the relatively non-existent bourbon selection. Great service and personalities amongst the staff. Make sure to make reservations on the weekend.More

Had a great experience for our first time here. We celebrated my boyfriend's birthday along with two friends from the area that recommended this restaurant. The service was great, our server and everyone there was very helpful. We ordered the ribeye, scallops, shrimp and softshell...crab. The food was delicious. Steak was very tender and cooked the way we ordered it. Drinks were great, nice selection. Will definitely be back.More
