We've been to Betty Jo's many times. Almost always it's great. Normal burger pub and grill type food and reasonably good service. The last couple of times there it seemed the service was less than it should be ... maybe just hit a few new employees. Still, it's worth a try in Winona where there aren't a lot of "nice"... More

I have always enjoyed going to Betty Jo's but it seems like so often my choice of evening is Friday, at the end of the week. Then before I even get inside, the aroma of the fish fry sits right in my throat. I have had their meal off and on and it has always been good but it is... More

We go there with work off and on. Bar type food, everything I have had has been ok-nothing super exciting. Its rather dark in there, even during the day, tables are tight. Wait staff is pretty good, had good and bad like anywhere. They are more for the bar scene then food, in MY opinion. Its rather loud in there... More

Decided to try Betty Jo's when visiting Winona. Claims to be the best burgers in Winona. The menu on their web site looked convincing, so four of us (including a child) went for dinner on a Friday night. There was no wait, which was unusual. The waitress was . . . well, uninterested. The food came out really fast, but... More

Food was okay as usual, nothing special but was fine. Waitress didn't seem to care much as she was on her phone and sitting on the customer side of the bar for most of our visit- quite unprofessional.

2 for 1 is fine, but I would never pay full price otherwise...burgers are very small, skimpy on toppings... ... I would expect much more for the normal $9.99... Very overpriced and not great compared to other local restaurants for the price....however, the waitress was very good!

We've been here several times, enjoying each one. Food is good pub grub. Takes a while to get seated, but you can munch some free popcorn while waiting.

We had the bartender for our server at a table. I'm sure, had we been there for a "liquid lunch," the service would have likely been better. Unfortunately, after our food was brought, she didn't check back with us... and there was something wrong with my salad. I had ordered avocado to be added, but it was not. Eventually I... More

Good food and fun atmosphere. It can be a little loud, so not a great place for a quiet conversation. The service is good, and it's decent bar food: burgers, fries, wraps, and decent prices. I wouldn't order the fried fish on Friday nights, though. They have a good pried special on all-you-can-eat fried cod. But, they have to cook... More
