I have been to Blooming Grounds on several occasions and enjoyed each one. In addition to a variety of coffee prepared to order, there is a nice selection of pastries. The lunch menu has a nice variety and items are prepared when ordered. The small plates/appetizers available after 4PM are also very good. Service can be a bit slow when... More

We came across this lovely coffee house while strolling in historic Winona. The owner was so friendly and shared some fun things about the area. The homemade bars were delicious and my sister loved her Irish Cream Breve which one of the employees recommended. A fun experience. We were only there for a quick coffee break but the menu selection... More

I liked my sandwich. Menu on chalkboard. You order at the counter, and they bring it to your table. It looks like they have music sometimes, but nothing was playing when we were there.

Blooming Grounds has a great location right on the corner and close to almost every shopping store Winona has downtown. With table and chairs set up just in front of the restaurant, it is a perfect location for a wonderful noon lunch and catch a few rays as well. Blooming Grounds features a limited but extremely wonderful menu with fresh... More

Blooming Grounds is one of my favorite lunch getaway spots. The ambience is very relaxing, especially on the far side of the building from the coffee pick-up bar. I love the paninis, but I wish the experience was a bit more consistent. Wait times can sometimes be very quick and other times beyond slow. The sandwich is always a little... More

I am not a coffee person, but a friend got me started on this years ago and I just love them!! Blooming Grounds are the BEST!!! Their wraps and paninis are so good too! Would highly recommend them. In the evenings it is a nice quaint place for wine, appetizers, and they even have music some nights!!

This place has great coffee and soup/sand witch food. The staff are friendly. There is wifi for the student or traveling business person. Diverse crowd. This place has a small private back room for a small gatherings. Call a week or two to book it.

Blooming Grounds is great place for a cup of coffee, glass of wine or a beer. The food is fresh and tasty and not your typical fare. It is informal and excellent.

Blooming Grounds recently expanded to include room for more dining and entertainment. They have average food but their pastries are very good. They've expanded their menu to include a few diner options as well. This is a coffee shop primarily and best for a quick lunch. They only have a few options for vegetarians but some of their meat served... More
