We had planned a beach day with a walk to find this little cafe having read good reviews. Due to arriving for a late lunch the cafe had ran out of tuna and some other items but was still a lovely little place with friendly staff. We had pasties, which had to be cooked fresh as these had also sold... More

A brilliant location for tea and homemade cake. A beautiful view. A must visit. We walked along the dunes, watched the surfers and played in the sand. If you're in St Ives, take the effort to visit this beautiful beach and The Jam Pot Cafe.

It was a freezing walk along the beach and dunes. We spied that the Jam Pot was open and went in, with the dog, for tea and cake. Scrummy. Mum had lemon drizzle and I had a rock bun. The dog sat nearby. It's mainly a spot to eat outside, but in the winter there is a little round stone... More

Just a basic beach cafe but good pasties and near to the beach for ice creams and hot drinks. Not the fastest service, but why are you in a rush?

Hidden in the dunes, stumbling across this little cafe with it's fresh pasties, toasties, rolls and cakes was a real treat. Simple food made well with friendly service and wonderful view. We went back the next day as we enjoyed it so much, and will be back there next time we are in the area.

Description
The Jam Pot Cafe is a very traditional beach Cafe. It serves good traditional food throughout the day, such as bacon/sausage/egg rolls, toasted cheese/ham/onion/tomato sandwiches, cold rolls, traditional Cornish pasties and of course English Breakfasts in the morning. All of which (except for the full breakfast) is available to takeaway too, as well as hot drinks. We also serve a variety of cakes, our most common ones are chocolate, coffee and walnut, lemon drizzle, flap jacks and rock buns. However these vary based on the mood of the staff member making them! All of which are of course home-made! We also serve great cream tea, which comes with 2 scones (made at the local bakers, Berryman's in Camborne, who also provide our pasties and pastry's) Roddas clotted cream, jam, and a pot of tea for one. The Jam Pot claims no fancy menu or exquisite delicacies, however what we do, we do well! Our prices are low, our staff are chatty and our portions large. Come and enjoy the view have a cuppa and a slice of cake (why not a cream tea!), and talk to the famous Jam Pot dogs.
