We came for lunch at really busy hour (we got the last available table), and the waiters really tried to serve us quickly and apologized for waiting. The food was excellent! Perfect fish pate, great octopus salad. For the main course, we had octopus goulash, and we pair it with big glass of dingac black wine. We really enjoyed our time here, and the prices were more then reasonable compered with other places in Dalmatia. We definitly recommend!

We have been coming here for 4 years during summer vacation, and food in this place never stops to amaze me. This evening we were having octopus under the bell (peka). Ctulhu has been soft and tasty, and potatoes were crisp on the outside and creamy on the inside - pure taste buds extravaganza. Food was accompanied by local white wine Rukatac, which goes quite well with the dish. Ambient is quite something too; terrace in the shadow of oak trees with a nice view on the inner peninsula. Staff and owner are very friendly. Total damage for this meal (for two) was 365kn (under 50€), and considering the quality and quantity of food and booze, this is excellent value for money

I visited this restaurant with a large group of friends and was amazed by the great food, service and ambient.
I had the grilled calamari. My friends ordered all sorts of meals from fish to grilled chicken to pasta. All were impressed with the excellent food and service.
The only minor complaint would be that the pasta was too small a portion, all other portions were ample and some impossible to finish! In the end, we mixed and matched so everyone left full.
Highly recommend to all!

We went there for are anniversary dinner. The food was normal, nothing very special even to very hungry guests. I definitely do not recommend this place to hungry people, we’ve waited for fried calamari and black risotto 1,5h in a front of a glass of water because the waitress was afraid to come and ask do we need something else seating and waiting. Definitely our disappointment after all this good reviews.

We waited for ca 1 hour for our order. I ordered grilled calamari and got three very small and not properly cleaned chunks for 145 kn.
My impression was that the prices are up and the amount per portion is down compared to what was in the past.

This restaurant is disastrous!
To start with, we waited for almost an hour for our plates.
My friend ordered grilled squids and got a funny and ridiculous plate with 3 squids (see photo attached). When we complaind we were explained that the weight of the dish should have been 250g and my friend got 260g.
I ordered grilled fish and the waiter ignored my request for one more small piece of lemon. Till now i dont know what was the weight of this small piece of lemon.
No compensation. Only useless words.
Konoba fortun is a very bad restaurant. Better to avoid!

After several visits over the years, we returned because of the very nice ambiance and good food for a reasonable price.
What we didn't expect was 7 cats that alternately hang around the tables and touch the guests' legs looking for food, they also fight with each other, which is by no means pleasant while you are eating.
After a cat jumped on our table and grabbed a piece of fish we were eating, we decided that it was too much and visibly upset, we started to leave the facility. When asked by the waiter if everything was fine, I replied that the food was great but the cats chased us away, he just laughed mockingly and continued on, when he left he just shouted "ah bye" to us and laughed loudly once more.
Let everyone decide for themselves, but because of the cats and the teasing, I will never come to an otherwise excellent facility again.

We thought this restaurant would be great. The place looks fine and... Yeah I’m trying to write something positive about this place but that’s it. We ordered food and we waited 1 hour and 15 minutes for it. 2 out of the 3 foods we ordered was cold and not even delicious. They said sorry and offered us a second round of drinks for free. After 30 minutes of waiting for the drinks we decided to leave the place so we wanted to pay. We struggled another 10 minutes with paying. I really don’t recommend this place. :(

We returned to the restaurant again, after last year's WONDERFUL visit! We also came here from Paulą Jagodzinska’s rewie. Unfortunately, the waiting time was 1.5 hours, although as it turned out later 2.15 hours. Half of the dishes served after 1.5 hours were COLD, we reported this to the waitress - she called the manager, who offered to bring new portions - for which we waited another 45 minutes. In the meantime, another waiter approached our table several times, who behaved very unprofessionally, was rude, rude and addressed us in an uncultured manner. In the end, the dishes served in the right way were finally good, and the restaurant left with a face covering the cost of the entire order, unfortunately the bad taste remained. I must only mention that the waitress who initially served us was professional and nice.

Everything about this place is amazing. Food ,service ,atmosphere. It's a place where you can eat local food in very relaxed and charming manner. Staff is very polite and professional. Great for family ,friends ,couples,place for everybody who like to come to the restaurant and just enjoy.
P.S. Terrace is amazing overlooking the bay all. View is like a heaven for the eye. All the best Portun. See you again !

This family owned restaurant serves great food together with tasty wine. It's maybe some of the best Croatian food we've had. We their red wine with homemade pasta and grilled squid.

Cute nice place with great food, super host Roco and amazing wines.
Meat was very tasty, black risotto just perfectly cooked, Roco recommended fresh daily fish that was spectacular, also squids fried are top class. All that goes hand in hand with great local wines.

The food is really great.We had an octopus salad,tuna carpaccio for starter.Bith fantastic.Then we ordered a plate of fish for two.It was sooo delicious.
The food is worth its price. And of course we had a bottle of Rucatać wine.
