Bear Town Bar and Grill has been a fixture in White Bear Lake for over 15 years. Its specialties include broasted wings, burgers and pizzas. The menu also contains many sandwiches and wraps, dinners, appetizers and salads. Bear Town also serves a full breakfast menu every Saturday and Sunday. Delivery and take out are also available. A large outdoor seating area and many television to watch your favorite sporting events. Reservations can be taken in the dining area for up to 50 people. Pull tabs are also available. It is happy hour all day every day at Bear Town and the daily specials cannot be beat.

Our party of 4 went on a very busy Friday evening. We got a table quickly, but then sat for almost 20 minutes before a server asked if we had been waited on. She took our drink orders and said she would send the server who was supposed to have our table over. After another 10 minutes, the first server brought us our drinks and took our orders. She was very apologetic for the oversight by our first server, and she took good care of us after that. (The first server never did acknowledge us or apologize!) Outdoor patio did not have table service, so we assumed they were short on help. The food itself came within 10 minutes after we ordered. The Bacon Bleu Burger was excellent with bacon, caramelized onions and crumbled blue cheese. Two people liked the Beartown Fried Chicken Sandwich which is a boneless chicken breast with a light breading, lettuce, tomato, and chipotle lime mayo. Also had a children's chicken strips basket. We all had tater tots which were crispy. They have a "Liquor Happy Hour" which is all day every day, buy one and get a second drink for $3 for most mixed drinks. This was our first time here and we will definitely give them another try.

We met our nephew & his girlfriend here for breakfast; it was the first time at this property for all of us. Didn't have to wait long for a table, even though it was on a nice Sunday morning. Our server Steph H was at our table almost before we all got seated and she was very good at making sure we all had what we needed and/or wanted. Her prompt service and attention made our get together very nice. Being our first time at Bear Town, we were not aware that the serving sizes were synced to a Hungry Bear's appetite. All our breakfast entrees were gigantic and extremely tasty. Truthfully, you get more for your money than you expected. Great service, good food; we'll be back again, soon.

Excellent food in a casual setting. Outdoor seating is available too. We only visited for breakfast but I'm sure ( based on the quality and quantity ofbreakfast), lunch and dinner will be excellent too. Great servers went out of their way to accommodate dietary needs of one of our group.

Not based on tonight…We’ve been here 4-5 times…Usually enjoy the Food…Service & atmosphere usually okay…Tonight my husband said his Reuben Sandwich was Good…we always like the Fries. I had the Chicken, Wild Rice Soup…it was cold and it looked like separated cream…I couldn’t eat much. Not sure we’ll go anytime soon…😞

I was there yesterday at noon. Parking lot was half full which totally surprised us. My neighbor and I went in and ordered the breakfast burritos. 40+ min later I had to ask where our food was. Gal goes and checks. 15 min later we get our food which was COLD. I emailed their customer service and they blatantly told me to eat elsewhere in White Bear. Who are these people? That is no way to run a business or treat a paying customer. Probably explains why the parking lot was only half full! Save a trip, eat elsewhere.

Went for Sunday morning breakfast. First, we had great service. Second, the Bloody Mary’s were one of the best we’ve ever had. Breakfast was decently good. Definitely worth the stop.

Love stopping in for breakfast on the weekends. Usually not too busy to get a table right away. They have a delicious breakfast burrito with a jalapeño hollandaise sauce that’s outstanding!!!
Generous portions at a reasonable price!!

Hands down Beartown has the biggest and best wings around! Love the bloody-mary, beer and wings. You cannot go wrong with their pizza and burgers either. The service is so friendly as you would expect from a small town bar/grill.

We did take out twice and both times were awesome. First time we ordered 10 chicken wings $18.95 with buffalo, teriyaki and honey mustard sauces the actual size of each wing are HUGE. The only down side was when we got back to the hotel there were no sauces but even without sauces the wings were delicious and found they even gave us a couple extra wings. The next day we did 6 wings to go $11.95 plus 2 cups of Chicken Wild Rice Soup, $3.95 each we informed the bartender that we didn't get any sauces yesterday, he apologize and gave us each a bowl of the wild rice soup and 2 of each sauces. The soup was very very good and again the wings were outstanding.

My husband and I recently discovered Beartown Bar and Grill; what a wonderful establishment; it has become our number one place to go; it has excellent food, reasonable prices, great and friendly staff, a fun and safe atmosphere and an enjoyable Bingo experience on Monday evenings; we continue to recommend this place to our family and friends👍😊

Stopped in for burgers. The waitress was not busy, just hanging out at another table. It took a while.for her to get to us and take the order. The order didn't take long. My friend had to go to the bar to get a refill as the waitress was at the bar chatting up a guy at the bar. Then when time to get the bill, we had to find her to request it.
Food good, service very much lacking.

Seems as though the food was great but the service could have been improved. We really appreciate the comments. Our waitresses usually do not receive this type of feedback. We will make sure to address it so it does not happen in the future. Thank you for the review.

The dining room was closed, so we sat in a room that included a bar. Our timing was bad as the TVs were loudly turned to sports. The volume was decreased for awhile when we asked. Food was OK, service was slow. Probably won't return.

We realize Beartown Bar and Grill is not for everyone. We do have a lot of TVs and people like to watch sports and listen to music in the bar area. The dining room is the perfect area for people who want it more quiet, but it seems as though you caught us on a night where it was reserved. If you could email us at beartownbarandgrill@q.com and give us more information as far as the night you were there and the food you have, it would be greatly appreciated. This negative review does not give us enough information it improve and get better.

Tried twice. Assumed that poor service and not very good food the first time might have been a fluke. Not the case. Will never return as a result. Lots of really good restaurants in White Bear Lake to take advantage of.

We have 90%+ positive reviews on Trip Advisor, Google and Facebook. Beartown has been around for 20+ years in White Bear Lake and shows no signs of slowing down. We are not for everyone, and the high majority of people who come in and experience Beartown have a positive experience. It is unfortunate you see the need to be negative on social media. We employ a lot of hard-working, genuine people, we give thousand of dollars to families in need, youth sports teams and schools. People who are negative and feel the need to hurt businesses who contribute to the community are people we do not want to be associated with. Hopefully you change your mindset and do not post any more negative reviews for any more businesses no matter the experience, just don't go there anymore. If we were as bad as you say we are, we would not be as popular as we are, and we would be out of business.

We just got out of a movie and my wife said “let’s go get a burger”. I said “we’ve always wanted to try Bear Town. Man what we have been missing. We’re very picky beef eaters, hate the mega/ranch system and the sad way the animals are treated at the end of their lives. But once in a while we just need a burger. We will definitely go back and try some of their other dishes. I kinda think they’ll be just as good. Oh, by the way the staff was great just like we’d been going there fo years. No negatives from me!
