Hoppy Girl Brewing located in downtown Wabasha, MN, is nestled in the back yard of Turning Waters Bed, Breakfast and Adventure. The brewpub is open to the public see Facebook for hours of operation. We are close to Reads Landing, Kellogg, Lake City, Red Wing, Rochester, Nelson, Durand, Alma and Eau Claire, WI. Follow us on Facebook for local events. We offer pizza and ice cream to go along with our beer, guest taps, wine, cider, soda and housemade hard seltzers. If you love looking for hidden gems, then we are your place. Small batch with BIG flavor craftbeers. First brewery in Wabasha since Prohibition. We brew sours, stouts, Russian Imperials like Salted Caramel, milkshake IPAs, pale wheats, saisons, reds, browns and more. Be our guest at our Bed & Breakfast on the same premises. Our Wabasha girls weekend stop at Turning Waters Brewery/Hoppy Girl was awesome! With COVID cases on the rise we were worried. I emailed Brenda at Turning Waters about if she had an option, she sure did!
For a 2 drink minimum she offered that we could reserve a fishing shack on the brewery property! Heated and cozy. Full service for beers and food. Pizza was awesome! We could even bring our own snacks.
Brenda even baked a store bought vegan cheese pizza for our crew, along with some house pizzas. Incredible service for our girls weekend. We brought card games and had a great time. Def plan a visit here. Great brews... the Pumpkin Russian Imperial Stout and Mango Hazy should not be missed. Thanks Brenda!

I love staying with Brenda and Ford. Their Bed and Breakfast is beautiful, well managed and all around delight!! Brenda and Ford are taking all necessary steps and then some during this covid-19 to keeps all guests and patrons of the brewpub and B&b safe and still have that wonderful relaxing and fun time you want. The brew pup is open at convenient times with indoor and outdoor seating. Live music on Fridays when available as well to get us all out of itchy sticky funk!! I cannot say enough nice things about staying with them. Brenda makes a lovely breakfast for her guest as well, five courses with endless possibilities of flavor that you just can't believe! She always asks too if you have any allergies or undesired things for her meals. So sweet and thoughtful. I would not stay anywhere else. I am a repeat visitor for her and everytime I am never disappointed and am in constant awe of the things Brenda and Ford accomplish. Please, come stay.

I had the Coconut cream ale, it was awesome! We have been here several times before, and have always had a great experience. Our host Brenda, was an engaging conversationalist, and despite taking on the task or feeding over 60 folks at once, she was calm, cool, and collected. She made our evening, despite the hail storm, one I will always treasure.

Totally recommend this lovely B&B in Wabasha. We were welcomed with a flight of beers…. What?!?!? They were all very tasty too. Brenda and Ford are awesome hosts! Everything of our long weekend stay was just perfect & comfy. We stayed in the Coniferous master suite, it was a cozy room, exactly what we needed after the holidays. Our 3 breakfasts were scrumptious and cherry on top a few steps away (garage) there is a brewery (Hoppy Girl Brewing) that has very yummy beer and variety too. If there were more stars to give for our stay I would totally give them. Hopefully we can visit sometime in the summer. Thank you for the awesome hospitality, Brenda!!!

Stopped by Hoppy Girl a couple nights in a row while staying at the B&B and taking in the surrounding area. Such a fun atmosphere. And THE DRINKS! Each beer and seltzer they make onsite is fantastic. Nice selection of guest beers too. There is something for every taste. But the tropical dragonfruit slushie they made this weekend was life-changing. Heaven in a snifter :)

We had a great time celebrating a friends birthday in September! The brewery was so fun, with great pizza, music, and beer. We stayed in the separate condo in town and it was so adorable—perfect for a small group and equipped with everything we needed. Brenda is so fun and helped us to have a really great time! Definitely check this place out!

This a great spot to share a drink at a local brewery. The staff was very friendly and was a great spot to relax in the outdoor area while having a great tasting local beer. They have several drink options for non-beer drinkers.

What seems like a little out of the way place is truly a not so hidden gem. This was our second visit and found it just as hoppin’ as the first time. The drink selection is quite large and the atmosphere is fun, friendly…..family like! We tried some barrel aged beer that was superb! We also couldn’t pass up one of the yummy slushies - passed on dessert at dinner just for that and wasn’t disappointed! A definite must stop if you find yourself in the area!

We visited Hoppy Girl Brewing during a weekend visit to Wabasha for the Grumpy Old Men festival. The patio location was open and very sunny/warm which was great on a winter day. The beer we chose was excellent and the atmosphere was very fun and active. Would like to stay at Turning Waters B&B next door if we visit again... this location is great for walking to several places nearby.

Awesome unique beers and wines. They also serve pizza and ice cream. Music on the patio and records playing inside the airconditioned garage makes for an awesome gathering spot or a great place to people watch. Place is ALWAYS busy.

I stayed at the Turning Waters B&B and in the evening went to this Brewery. Brenda is very welcoming and it is amazing on how she can take care of so many people at once and carry on conversations. I was on a solo stay and found this brewery so charming and friendly. I met a lot of nice people. I’m personally not a beer drinker, but in listening to others, they all loved it. I had several good drinks including ice cream and slushies. They have outdoor seating too. Check this out if you are in or near Wabasha!

An intimate and friendly place with a great selection. You will not be disappointed in the variety of Hoppy Girl beers. This place makes you feel at home and everyone was so welcoming. We walked in as strangers and left the night with many new friends. Great beer. Great service. Great people. Can't wait to visit again!

We stayed at the B&B (Turning Waters) and this was a huge draw for us! Who wouldn't love a little Brewery, with great beers, right on site?! Ford makes great beers and there is something for everyone. Have a taster if you are curious because you may very well step out of your comfort zone of beer. The pub and outdoor space was clean and welcoming! Sitting on the adorable (socially distanced) patio listening to a little live music enjoying a delicious Lemon Shandy and Raspberry Berliner Weisse was the perfect way to spend our Friday evening! Brenda and Hailey (intern on site) were friendly and always made sure your glass was full and conversation was easy! Cheers to a wonderful brewery!

Fantastic little tap room featuring their own unique beers and other local and regional favorites. Brenda’s energy is magnetic and Ford’s no-nonsense personality is so refreshing. The peach shandy is super clean and summery while the salted caramel imperial stout is just about to die for!! Such a fun stop on our impromptu trek! Absolutely worth the stop!!

We visited Hoppy Girl Brewing for the first time this weekend. We attended the town’s annual Grumpy Old Men fest. If you are familiar with St. Patrick’s Day celebrations in Chicago…picture a bar in Wrigleyville except instead of a sea of green it’s a see of buffalo plaid clad Grumpy Old Men fans in a quaint small town. So much fun. And we may need to take the five our drive back just to get their: Tropical Heat Wave
