Historic Ice cream shop in Stillwater. GREAT Value for your money. Sometimes on weekends the lines can be long, however well worth the wait.

It was our first time visiting - we've always driven past and never stopped because of the long lines, but this time, we stopped. We stood in line for a good 1/2 an hour but it was a beautiful evening, so it wasn't too bad. I was absolutely amazed by the ice cream varieties and more than that, by the... More

Lots of choices. Be aware, the wait could be awhile and the servings are huge. Sharing is ideal, but the it is a fun old fashioned place and the ice cream is delicious.

Stillwater's Nelson's is a hidden treasure. There's nowhere else like it! A tip: Unless you can never get enough ice cream, get a single or a child's size cone & ask for it in a cup. It's a tiny place, so be prepared for a long line.

A trip to Nelson's is the ultimate ice cream experience. So many flavors of the best ice cream ever. We were able to taste test before we decided. We ordered the child size which was huge. The server was friendly and put some of my ice cream in a take out bowl so that I could handle it all. We... More

WOW... Great value and excellent flavors abound. Be prepared for an ice-cream extravaganza. Unless you have a hellacious appetite, I recommend you order a child' s size cone or cup. I can't even imagine the most voracious appetite of a child even coming close to finishing one. Wonderful personable servers so happy and willing to offer a taste. Very familiar... More

It took 45 minutes of standing in the hot sun during Lumberjack days to get my ice cream, but it was well worth it. The ice cream servings are huge. I actually had to tell the lady to stop adding a ice cream to my single serve cone. There are tons of choices. Very delicious and very good price.

Order only the child size and be prepared to take some home!!! Lots of really cool flavors and the ice cream is Cedar Crest which is top notch! Sometimes there is a long line but it moves fast and is well worth the wait!!!

Great service, great selection, generous portions (child size is more than enough for two adults). The only somewhat negative is that the seating is entirely in the sun so on warm/hot days, you end up with somewhat of a mess as the ice team melts quicker than you can eat it.

Be prepared for a line. This place is packed with a line going down the street. This is not premium ice cream, but the portions are huge. My single scoop looked like a pint. They do have child size .
