Here’s the deal: Victoriano’s makes the best pizza in town. It’s the other factors that keep it from being great.
The Good: The Pizza. If you’ve been to NY you know NY pizza, and Victoriano’s is the closest you’re going to get in the Twin...Cities. The crust is perfect. I like the sausage and pepperoni, and have them pile it high with arugula. Add a little Parmesan and olive oil, fold that gigantic slice in half, and I feel like I’m in Manhattan. Also, the garlic knots are freaking awesome. 5 stars for the food.
The Bad: Sometimes they don’t answer the phone. I’ve had my order messed up several times. Sometimes they aren’t open during posted business hours. Wait times are not accurate, or when I come in to pick up the pizza at the time I was told on the phone I find they either lost my order or are just putting it in the oven. 2 stars.
The Ugly (Truth): Victoriano’s could be a GREAT pizza parlor. The pizza is fantastic. But if they don’t figu re out the service end of the business they will fail. I don’t want that. You don’t want that. They don’t want that. It looks like there was a recent change in management/ownership, and I have noticed some improvement. Let’s hope it continues!More
We were wandering around the shops and thought we would get pizza for lunch. This was rated top and was marked as child friendly. They were friendly to our kids, but I would not take the kids to eat in the restaurant again. We ordered...slices, which were made to order. Thankfully they were quick. Tables and chairs and floors looked like they had not been cleaned in a while since there were lots of crumbs and flour dust all over. There was a small table for the kids, but very little seating overall. They did have a high chair by request. Didn't see any bathrooms for customers. Don't know if we will go back next time we visit Stillwater, but if we do, it will be carry out only.More
We thought a slice of pizza might be a good light lunch snack, but after walking in and seeing the kitchen/counter staff eating something with his hands before helping customers, we turned around and left. Good pizza aroma, just sorry we couldn't enjoy it.
They took over two hours to deliver our pizza, and the pizza was not worth the wait.
When called to check on the whereabouts of our pizza, the person that answered the phone said our pizza just came out of the oven then hung up...on us.
Don’t order pizza from here. There are much better choices in Stillwater then this dumpMore
