We try and get there early. We often have to wait to eat but the there is a reason. The food is one of the best around! Love the log cabin feel as well

This is a great local favorite. Crowded and a bit loud. Food is well worth the price. Well made drinks and non pretentious log cabin "speak easy" atmosphere. Expect a long wait after 5:30. Grab a drink and hang out. If that's not your thing skip Friday and Saturday evenings until after 7. I put June for our visit, but... More

Me and my husband stopped her for a meal. We thought the fare was more French, but perhaps we were mistaken for Mediterranean?...Anyway, it was more fine dining and we don't usually don't go for that, but once is ok and it was ok. More on the pricey side of ok.

Great place for locals. Known for its Walleye and steak. Quality is average but consistent and probably better than most in the area.

Phil's is the by the bet restaurant in the Stillwater area if not the twin cities. I've had almost everything on the menu and everything has been phenomenal. My personal favorites are the duck and the prime rib. My wife has ordered the duck every time we've gone for the last 3 years. The food and the service is second... More

My husband & I had a wonderful dinner at Phil's. What also impressed us was the staff. A friendly efficient bartender while we waited for our table (we were early). Emily was a wonderful, attentive waitress. The person who impressed me most was Amanda the hostess. Everyone who walked into the door was treated like a friend, she was glad... More

My friends and I met here before an event we were attending at the St. Croix Vineyards...someone else suggested we try it. I was so happy we did - it was in a cute log cabin and I felt like I was up in the Northwoods of Minnesota. Our waitress was fantastic and very helpful at helping my gluten-free friend... More

Tara's is a log cabin that's been around & in the same place for years. It has character & consistently good food. The menu includes American & some Greek entrees. It's usually very busy, so be prepared to wait.
