We walked over from the Valley Inn. I think they don't often have Dinein guests, but the lady was very welcoming and friendly.
All five of us enjoyed their food. We recommend the pan fried dumplings! I had the cashew chicken and I could not...eat it all.
Very charming woman sat us and brought our food. Swift service.
Don't be put off by the outside of the building and the garden in the flower bed. I've traveled in China and they don't seem to put much importance on the exterior. The food is good.More
For as long as Asian Hon has been there I have yet to see anyone actually dine in for dinner. Most times when picking up food the area where tables are is just dark.
They provide free delivery and your standard Chinese food options. On...this occasion we had the food delivered. For the price you get big portions. The food itself is average. If you are looking for the best Chinese in the area this is not it. However, if you are looking for delivered chinese food that is pretty consistent and a good value this is a good option in the area!More
I am staying less than a mile away, after 2 hours of not delivering my food, they told me I could pick it up myself. The original estimate was 30 minutes, then an hour. After 2 hours I decided to do something else. Don't promise...delivery if you cannot do it!More
We came here reluctantly on Black Friday (11/27/15) in the early afternoon only because our go-to Chinese restaurant decided to close over the Thanksgiving weekend. Other restaurants nearby looked busy after the shopping rush, but here at Asian Hon we were literally the only people...there. No one came in while we were eating either, nor did anybody get take out while we were there. Never a good sign on an otherwise busy restaurant day.
I was recently in China and the food I received at Asian Hon was nothing like I got over there. The Szechuan chicken had a very light sauce and the chicken didn't quite taste right to me. The vegetables seemed frozen and not quite warmed up enough. Later in the day I had pretty bad indigestion so this meal didn't sit well with me.
The server was a very pleasant older lady that was very nice to talk to. But based on the food quality on this trip we won't be coming back. Thanks for reading.More
We've received delivery multiple times - average quality (Far east is MUCH better, but we get Asian Hon when we don't feel like driving). This last time, I was struggling with biting through my fried spring roll, only to look at it and pull out...a 4 inch piece of plastic wrapper of something. Gross.More
The appearance of this restaurant made me question if it would really have anything good to offer. I was pleased to discover that they really had good food to offer! We were there mid-afternoon so we were the only customers. The decor was simple and...a bit cheap but the table did have a nice glass lazy-susan. The menu had both Chinese and Thai food. I ordered the Schezwan chicken which I was very pleased with. It had a good mix of veggies and chicken and was served with a side of white rice. Some other dishes others ordered were the orange chicken (included broccoli and orange slices), General Tsao's, the cream cheese wontons, and egg rolls. I enjoyed all of these. They tasted fresh and hot. My only complaint was how greasy the egg rolls were. The prices were great and service friendly!More
