This is a family run Mexican restaurant that features great entree's at very reasonable prices. Fridays and Saturdays, they also feature seafood entrees. Some highlights include unlimited chips n salsa, great drink specials, and a renovated bar/outdoor patio. I like the Enchiladas, especially spicy beef....I usually order the Enchilada Especial. The Street Tacos and Fajitas are great too. Forget the Don Pablos corporate chain, give this little gem a try the next time you're in Shakopee.More

Arrived early and waited for the rest of our party; were graciously checked often for anything we might need while waiting. Lots of seating, including an outdoor patio. Enjoyed the menu with lots of choices. I chose a fajita bowl which was delicious; that was...the first time I had seen a fajita without the shell. Our stay was lengthy, but our waitress was always gracious (We left a larger tip since we did take so long). By the time we left, the place was quite busy. We were well satisfied with this visit.More

The first time we went here, it was 5 stars! This time it was 2! We got there on a Wed at 2:30! Only 3 tables had people! The rest of the place was empty! The chips tasted old and the salsa was not very...good! My Burrito was plain and dry! The house flight of Margaritas were ok! The best one was the original! We will not be back!More

Wendy, Sorry to hear your experience was so bad this time. We strive for excellence each visit. I wish you would have shared with your server your dissatisfaction so we could have corrected it. Our chips are made daily but with the summer heat we...More

A friend and I recently enjoyed dinner at this friendly place. Melissa was our server, and did a fantastic job. She was very cheerful, and refilled our chips, salsa, and water when needed. Both of our meals were delicious, hot, and fresh: enchiladas and chile...rellenos. The lime margarita was tasty, as well. My personal test at Mexican restaurants is whether or not I get an upset stomach later on: no problem here! We will be back.More

Took a larger group to Pablo's which we have enjoyed for over 2 decades. Manager/owner is a fanatic about not seating WITH reservation. Forced 2 85 year old Ladies with Cancer to wait on a bench when we had 6 of a party of 8...on hand. Service very good. Food OK but 2 people were sick early next morning. After being loyal for a long time, I would take a pass and eat elsewhere. A true disappointment.More

Kevin, It is sad to read this review as we bent over backwards to accommodate you. When you arrived early yes you were told whole party needed to be here and as you yelled at my staff I became involved and said it is posted...More

First time visit. I've been looking for a go to Mexican restaurant, I think I have found it. Great service, nice environment and my shredded beef enchilada was great. Others in our group enjoyed their meal also. Salsa was just a little runny and bland...for my taste but these are small details. I'd recommend and I'll be back.More

I would definitely go back! Everything was fabulous! Even the House Margaritas were great! I'm extremely picky on my margaritas and don't normally like the house brand! This one was amazing! They have great happy hour specials and great daily lunch specials and daily drink...specials! The chips and salsa were very fresh and good! I got the ultimate chimichanga which was delicious! Just can't say enough about this place. I was thoroughly impressed! Next time I want to try a flight of margaritas to try the different flavors and kinds they have!More

We drove over 20 miles to give this restaurant a try and feel we will be making the drive quite often. Both my husband and I agree that it is the some of the best Mexican that we have ever had! We ordered the queso...and it was FABULOUS! Too good, because we ate so many chips before our meal came! I did a combo with a taco, enchilada and burrito. All were good but the burrito was my favorite. The burritos have three sauces to choose from (enchilada sauce, verde sauce or chipotle sour cream sauce). The chipotle sour cream sauce was really good! The portions were so big we had more than enough for lunch the next day too. Definitely going back very soon!More

The service is great and so is the food. An endless supply of chips and sauce starts your meal. Lots of room inside and when the weather warms up....think about sitting on the patio.

We tried this out after seeing it highlighted on Twin Cities Live and had never been to this one. It was Quatro de Mayo since we were busy on Cinco and it was very busy. Nevertheless we were seated very promptly. Service with a smile...followed throughout our time there; we were not rushed and the food we tried was very good. The atmosphere is nice and not too noisy in spite of a lot of people. Prices are fair. We'd recommend Pablo's!More
