No surprises - good

We like to go to Taco John's because their food is predictable. We know what we like to order and it is always good. No surprises. This is a chain and every one is the same. The staff is a bit slow and a smile would help. But the food was nothing special just fast food good.

Very good Taco John's location

We love Taco John's. This is a very good Taco John's franchise. In fact one of the reasons we chose our hotel was convenience to this restaurant. (The other reason was convenience to Mystic Lake Casino.) Our only objection is they do not serve taco burgers. They do serve other Taco John's specialties which are very good. They are typically not crowded with convenient onsite parking. The same location also serves Steak Escape, but we have no experience with that. I have to say we prefer the Taco John's on Egan Drive in Savage which does serve taco burgers.

Brutal customer service

If you serve customers food at 9:45 p.m., it is unrealistic to expect them to be cleared out of the building by 10 p.m., and asinine to threaten to call the police on them when they don't run for the door at that time. Here's a thought: If you are going to have a 100 percent "out by 10 or else" policy, then don't serve food past 9:30, and at 9:15 start warning people about your stupid policy BEFORE they order food. That way people will be talking about the quality of your food, which is as good as any Taco John's I've ever visited, rather than talking about which other restaurants to patronize because your customer service is awful.
