Who knew 2 for 1 all day everyday 🤷🏼♀️drinks and pizza 🍕. My second pizza was even better the next day. First time visit, bartender was attentive not annoying. How can we not go back?

My friend and I were staying at a hotel next door which turned out well since we could walk to the Muddy Cow. No drinking and driving for us. Little did we know, since we're not from the area, that the Muddy Cow does 2...for 1 drinks all day every day!!!. Only 1 bartender and he was amazing to watch as he worked. We took our drinks outside and enjoyed the evening. We went inside just to order some appetizers (the 1st night). The poutine and nachos were delivered to us by a very friendly server. Both apps were awesome. 2nd night we sat outside (it was a Friday) and a server came to us. We ordered drinks and we each had a salad. I had a Caesar's and my friend had one that had dried cranberries, chicken etc. Both were large and served by a delightful server. The 3rd night it was raining so we called to pick up pizza. Surprise!!!!! They are order 1 get 1 free!!! We would definitely return to this restaurant if in the Shakopee area. At this time when no one wants to work we were both pleasantly surprised by such great service and food.More
Before hitting Canterbury Park for night racing, we stopped at the Cow. First, it was Happy Hour & craft drafts were two for one. Then we try their homemade soup (wild rice/chicken) for starters (excellent). Finally the entree: Fried walleye. Being from the East Coast,...we had to try that Midwest delicacy & it didn't disappoint. Besides a name change, they hit the mark.More
Went for a nice happy hour to kick off the weekend. Ended up just getting frustrated. Food was good service sucked. Eva was our waitress and was to busy with her other parties. She would acknowledge is but then wouldn't return Ended up getting our...on take out boxes and bill. It will be a long time before we try it again.More
Just picked up a carry out order. Food was a the bar; waitstaff looked at me from across the bar, knew I wanted to pay, then sauntered away from the bar to wipe off a table. Then, evidently, it was more important to bring two...water pitchers back to the kitchen than it was to take my money. By the time I was able to pay food was cold. Not a real positive experienceMore
Me and friends went there when it was two for one drink night. The server actually asked for our ID even though the youngest in the group was in her 40s. I had a hamburger and it was good and tastey. Enjoyed the atmosphere there....It also was snowing as we left the restaurant and being from California it was a treat.More
Stopped in for a business lunch with 5 other coworkers. They had very large assortment of lunch specials to choose from and there happy hour specials for later in the day looked more than appealing as well. Staff was very helpful and food tasted great!!!...I’d recommend trying one of their “poutine” appetizers. Delicious!!!More
Good burgers and brews here with a cheese ball self serve machine and peanut barrel to boot! Love this added touch. Drink specials and some really unusual burger choices. I haven’t tried them all but I am working on it. Best deal is the Thursday...rib special.More
I've been to the Muddy Cow a fair amount of times and you would think I would know better. I like the 2 for 1. Everything else needs help. Examples: We had a going away party for a coworker. Some people got drinks, some had...to wait quite some time and one person never received the beer that was ordered. Need less to say they didn't stay long. When food was ordered, that was a fiasco! Another long wait! The times that we have gone there to eat before, it never fails, it takes quite some time to get your food and they aren't that busy. I asked if my burger could be cooked medium and they told me that all burgers are cooked the same, well. I was assured by the waitress, who told me that she went to culinary school, that the burgers are juicy. How can they be juicy when they cook them well? I just feel that there is room for improvement.More
So, I wish I'd taken pictures of the food for you, but ces't-la-vie. I can tell you, though, that if you're looking for an excellent meal with a sports bar atmosphere, this is definitely the place to go. Our server was Grace, and she was...totally on the ball. We never had ri ask for drink refills, our food came out hot, and she was really friendly and professional. Plus, she was working on a leg in a cast! We ordered cheese curds, which are made in the store, battered in a light breading, and fried, and they were the best I've ever had! I'll never be able to eat them in other places now, but that's fine with me! :-) Also had their buffalo wings, which they loved; the prime rib sandwich with au jus, which was "tender, fresh, and very tasty"; and the pan fried walleye dinner (mine). This walleye was so yummy! It's a HUGE fillet, lightly battered, and served with a light lemon/ butter sauce, which was just the right amount of lemon without being over-powering. The prices were average; not really low but no more than you'd pay at a place like Hooters, so is a great value for the money! I will definitely return to this place next time I'm in Minnesota. Great food, great service, great prices, and just have someone roll you out in a wheelbarrow when you're done, because the portions are really large! Loved this place!More
I just don't get all the hype. Two for ones seem like the big pull for this place... but if you are like me... you like your beer/drinks cold. I have a hard time with these two for one places because I can't drink fast...enough to enjoy my second drink while it's still cold. Their food has been hit or miss. The cheeseburger egg rolls are decent. And their wild rice soup is actually REALLY good. But everything else I've had is just sorta there.More
employees were very happy to be working there, in return that made us feel welcome, we just had a few sodas and they offered it to us on the house, its a small deed but much appreciated, lots of space to move around, dance floor...is nice but unused alot so bust a move and get out on the floor, DJ was nice because he played a wide variety of music to cover just about any age groups favorite, as well as the current millennials type of music so we get to learn new music as well as remember past generation musicMore
We went to the Muddy Cow and had great food. My husband had the boneless chicken wing wrap, I had the chicken ranch wrap and my daughter had the hamburger kids meal. It was very tasty and the portions were large. Our potato choice was...mashed potatoes which came with gravy on them, not on the side. The mashed potatoes were nothing special, but my daughter had the regular fries and they were great. We had a nice server. My only complaint is that there was quite a bit of swearing from customers that could be overheard (but it's a sports type bar, what do you expect)?More
We stopped here for lunch before going to valleyfair for the day. At first, it took forever to get our menus, then forever to place our order, then forever for the food to come, then forever to get our bill, and then forever for her...to run our credit card!!! Out never smiled once and there was a fly flying around our table for most of the time. Don’t stop here if you want a quick lunch... it takes quite a while!! The only saving grace is that the food was really good. Fries are like mashed potato fries and super yummy. I got the boneless chicken wing wrap with blueberry bbq sauce and it was very yummy. But I would t come here again.More
Super fun place. Great deals like 2-1 all day and fantastic food. They happily accomidated my entire family (20+) after having a great day at Canterbury Park. Very clean and it had a fun and enthustiac attitude. Hats off to them. Good Job.
