A couple of restaurants were closed during the Labor Day holiday, but O'Briens was opened. My wife and I had a great meal on their outdoor porch. The weather was great, not too hot and not too cold. I had a juicy burger at O'Briens complete with a nice house salad keeping the entire meal light and tasty. The servers were attentive and but not on top of you while you were eating your meal. This place has a great selection of food to choose from depending on your taste, budget and hungry factor. If you are looking something different, I would highly recommend O'Briens in Shakopee

We stopped at this Pub to test out the menu for a future gathering of friends. There was a party of 5 ahead of us waiting in front of the "Please Wait to Be Seated" sign. Finally they ventured into the bar area and were told to sit anywhere. We followed suit and found a booth. It took awhile for someone to wait on us (only one person this shift). We ordered our meals which took too long to arrive but the food was hot and it was good. The single wait person was taxed with the number of guests but she was pleasant. I could have used a refill for my drink about 10 minutes earlier but it did arrive. All-in-all it was not a huge disappointment and we will return.

Had to wait at least 5 minutes to get seated (staff walked by us and another couple as if we weren’t there). There were 5 teenage boys casually walking around without masks, they finally sat in the booth next to us, making hacking sounds. When I asked the waitress, she said they didn’t have to wear masks because they just had beverages.

It was quiet. In fact was told as we walked in that they were talking about closing early because it was quiet. They encouraged us to stay. We were about 3 hours before posted closing time. Staff was friendly and did not rush us. One of us had the Bourbon pasta, which was spicy as promised and lightly sweet. The other one ordered prime rib au jus sandwhich, it was bland and flavorless. When the waiter brought our food out he had barely turned away from us and said to a friend of another waitress who had just walked in that she better not want anything because he just closed the kitchen. He got busy doing closing chores and barely stopped back to see how things were or if we needed water/refills. When we were done and paid he followed us on our heels and was locking the door before we were outside the second st of doors. This was still a good hour and a half before posted closing time. No need to go back.

I may have reviewed them before with a higher rating, but things are apparently going the wrong direction. Service was extremely slow, drinks took a long time to arrive, and at one point my daughter (former server) remarked that it had been an hour and two minutes since we put in our order. Things finally arrived, and came out over ten minutes. This was not special orders, hamburgers and other sandwiches generally. I had pot roast, Luke warm at best and crusted over from sitting under the warmer or whatever for a long time. It will be a while for sure until we try again.

My family and I love Obrien’s public house but this last time I went they highly burnt my meal as well as forgot a part of it. We ordered for pick up and it was done late. Really hoping for better results next time!

I have been going there since they first opened. Their menu is usually great. Right now it is excellent. Food is always good. Service is spotty, but last couple of times have been good. I would rate this place a 5 if service was always good. Because food is good, I will keep going back.

On Friday the 16th we went to O'Briens Public House, 5:40 in the afternoon they served us a bad chicken, my husband ate some of that chicken, and I was super worried. It's really a fault on the part of the kitchen staff, and it's a risk for the customers. I still feel nauseous when I remember that smell. God take care of us.

My daughter and I had lunch there over the weekend. Great food and service! We went in the evening for drinks and they had a live bad! Atmosphere was great and Twin Whiskers band played great music! Wonderful time.

We stumbled upon O'Brien's and it was a fortuitous find. This place is a great pub with great food and exemplary service. Our server was Mary and she couldn't have been nicer. She went through the menu and we really wanted to try about 6 things each. I settled on the house made pastrami and it was an outstanding sandwich. Having just had the pretzel bites I had plenty of cheese dip left so I used my house made chips to finish up the sauce! I can't wait to go back and try the corned beef and cabbage, shepherds pie, fish & chips and so much more

Fries came out cold for mine and my wife's. I asked for my burger medium well and it came out rare. Sent it back and it came back well done. My wife asked for her burger well done and her burger was medium.

Three of us by chance stopped at O'Briens PH for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. We were warmly greeted and our delightful server did everything possible to give us a great experience. We ordered fish and chips and shepherd's pie. The shepherd's pie was especially delicious. Both servings were large. After eating we joined our fellow customers in free Saturday bingo which was fun. The decor and atmosphere were right out of the pubs we visited in Ireland not too many months before coming to O'Briens. We'll definitely be back for another fun time!

We had an excellent experience here! We decided to lean into the Irish/British theme and ordered Guiness, corned beef & cabbage, shepherd's pie, bread pudding. Everything was absolutely delicious. Service was friendly and the staff worked well as a team. I would like to go back there - if I was a local, I would frequent the place.
