I've been here many times. Great sandwiches! Good, fresh portions. Significantly better than the "national" chains. It's a busy place but usually a 5 min wait. Would recommend this place.

This is our go to spot for pop - they have all kinds such as: Peach Nehi, Grape Nehi, Cheerwine, MacFaddy's, etc. Last time I was there, I even spotted some Mexican 7Up. They carry different Cheeses, and candies at well. You can grab a quick bite to eat there to go with your soda and candy. They serve hotdogs... More

St. Paul Special and Old Fashioned. Every time. Two of my favorite sandwiches ever. Everything here is great. The salad bar looks outstanding with probably 50 choices. The sandwiches are all amazing, but the top 2 i listed are my favorites. Love Nelson's! We get takeout for the boat and it's perfect

This deli has a ton to offer from salads, create your own salad, hot dogs (polish sausages), and sandwiches. My husband and I ordered Reuben Sandwiches and they were so delicious and juicy. The location is not the best, there was almost no parking near the deli. You might have to walk a little. The staff is friendly and upbeat.... More

Nelson Cheese Factory is small deli that serves great sandwiches. They make one of the best Reuben sandwiches around! Purchase local cheese from their small market, too.

I love their food, but because of the hours I can never get food there on my way home from work and I wish it had some seating. We really need a good place to sit and eat in the neighborhood!

If you are in the mood for a great sandwich with good quality ingredients and great flavor, try Nelson's. if you have a work function or meeting, the box lunches are really good.

I eat Nelson's sandwiches several times a year. I've never actually visited; food has always been delivered. Town of Nelson is my favorite. No matter which sandwich I have had, the meat has been fresh and generous; bread tasty; condiments and dressings flavorful in just the right proportions. Price is reasonable for a box lunch.

We first stumbled across this place on Christmas Eve and were so impressed, we returned again during our January trip to the Twin Cities. I'm not quite sure why cheese factory is in the name since while they have a case of cheese, it isn't what makes this place great. It is their selection of sandwiches, salads and sides. The... More
