We sat down, ordered some delicious Curds; which came out fresh within minutes. As I enjoyed such wonderful warm cheesy bites my mind wandered back to my youth on the farm when my mother and other locals would make fresh curds on Saturday's and I...More

My grandparents and I used to make what Papa called "wolf burgers" over the fire pit up north. It involved two patties stuffed full of everything we would normally put on top of the burger. The Nook has perfected my Papa's wolf burgers. The place...More

Had to wait about 45 mins. to get a table, but was well worth it. Started out with the hand dipped cheese curds and runyon rings, both were delish. Our group had a hard time picking from the menu as there were so many items...More

We love the Nook and have been here several times. Food is always good! Must try the juicy nooky. Fantastic Happy Hour deals!

The burgers are very good. Sufficient beer list. We were shuttled down stairs by the bowling alley. It was loud, hot and uninspiring. Service was so-so. On a weekday night with a table upstairs, this would probably get a higher rating.

Their burger and fries are SO good! Like so good. One of our top favorite places in the cities! Be prepared to wait--it's busy because it's good! They have a large menu-but I would recommend a burger for sure! They have a cool old fashion...More

Yum. Nothing better than burgers and fries. The Nook offers the most delicious bar food, would 10/10 recommend the sweet potato fries. Always a great meal.

The Nook is in a narrow building with an upstairs and downstairs. The downstairs, where we ate, has a vintage bowling alley and was not what we were expecting, but it was cool. The chipotle garlic wings were flavorful. We had a patty melt, a...More

Consistently great, juicy burgers. It is a small restaurant and it can sometimes be difficult to find close parking but it is well worth the wait and the parking hassle. Bowling in the basement.

Did you mean motels? If so, not close. It is located in the Highland, Macalaster area of St Paul across the street from Cretin High School.
