We "bellied up" to the sushi bar and ate like royalty. The salads and sushi were delightful and those creating the delectable nosh were fun to watch. Delicious, friendly, fun!

We visited again and had another outstanding meal. The sushi is outstanding. It's fresh and the cuts are always generous. The rolls have great texture and flavor. The service is prompt and friendly. This is the best sushi in the twin cities.

Have not been to this neighborhood favorite for about a year and attended a special dinner last night. The multi-course meal of small plates for our group included beef, tuna, tofu, and of course, sushi - about ten varieties. I have had good teppan yaki (the only teppan yaki tables in St. Paul, I think) and one member of my... More

I do keep coming here for very specific sushi rolls and the calamari appetizer but nothing else really. If their other food was as great, I would give 4 stars. Personal favorites: -Calamari appetizer: "meaty and good quality. Always crispy and the accompany sauces are great. Spritz a bit of lemon on top and it's DELICIOUS! -Spicy tuna: fish and... More

Overall the experience was pretty good. The service was fine and there seemed to be a push to non sushi items, which was a bit odd. We still ordered sushi as we intended with going there and it was good. All in all there are other better places in the Twin Cities to go for sushi but if you are... More

Looking for some good sushi and found it. Also had the grilled mackerel. I think it might of been frozen, but it is Minnesota. Overall very nice. Only bad part was no BTN network for Gopher game and a tap beer was $6.

This is a great place to go with couples or with a big party. If you haven't had tepenaki before it's a must. The food has been great 9 out of 10 times. The sushi is also really good. If you have kid's they'll remember it forever. Fun times and good food

When you walk into the restaurant you will be greatly pleased by the atmosphere and the decor. The vibe is calm and great with a neat wall with Japanese mosaic art. Our server was very polite and had a great attitude. However the food there is a little pricey for the quality. Both my girlfriend and I ordered California Rolls.... More

The decor has changed since the last time I was there, but the food is just as great. I had the chirashi sushi, and this is one of the very few places in the Twin Cities that I have been able to find it at a reasonable cost. I continue to be amazed that the sushi chefs here will actually... More

We had a great selection of sushi sitting out on the upper patio. It was a very pleasant evening with great service.
