great place to chill in the summer - their patio is well known.... sharing a bottle of wine with a friend in the basement with a tasty treat is super in the winter....worth visiting

It's other worldly in the summer at night with lots of string lights and beautiful patio furniture. It's such a gorgeous spot, and the inside is equally gorgeous. There is an amazing lounge on the lower level, and this restaurant has great food and drinks. Not cheap, but worth the price once in a while :)

This is our favorite go-to restaurant in St Paul for an anniversary or other special night. It's quiet, intimate, and really pretty, especially around the winter holidays. It's brick and wood inside, and has several fireplaces. Super romantic. Two other things to mention- it has a great patio out back which is open during summer, filled with leafy green dappled... Went in with a group of friends, did not have time to have dinner, but that looked very good. Professional bartenders, great selection and reasonable price. Like going back in time. Definitely will go back, and maybe have dinner?

This overpriced and stuffy joint has a lot of potential but seems to be poorly managed and run. Drinks and food are pricey and the staff is out-of-touch. We had and adult party of 6 and ate dinner in the bar, our waitress was slow and snooty, the food so-so at best...I'll pass next time I'm in town, way too... More

This restaurant really mixes European/French/American. We absolutely love the food. We have had stuff we love over other stuff but their pork chop has always been delicious. We travelled europe for a month and WA Frost's food lives up to all we tasted over there. WA Frost even had mulled wine around Christmas! Genius!! We don't live in St. Paul... More

Frost more than deserves to be in the top tier of St. Paul restaurants. Service is impeccable; interior is cozy and inviting; food is wonderful; wine list is well-priced. A classic, lovely dining experience. But -- it's also a safe one, with the usual suspects on the menu and in the preparation. Not much in the way of creativity or... More

This restaurant was packed on 12/26 and guests just kept coming throughout the dinner. The service was quite good and friendly. The dishes were deicious, whether the salads, other entrees, the pasta for my young one or the wine. The main dishes were just great, the salmon and the penne and the chicken. It was just delicious fine food that... More

W.A Frost is always good, but especially in the summer on the patio. We went in November so we sat inside. I had the Brussels Sproats which were excellent.

As we took the first look at our menus, our friendly and skilled server told us there was a 'new' head chef and we could see and experience a distinct improvement in the food preparation and presentation. The cozy interiors with wood burning fireplaces in each dining help to make this the most delightful dining experience in town. Now, the arrival... More
