Consistently great food and service with some very good specials

The salmon and prime rib here are always awesome. They have good late night happy hour specials and a date night (Monday, I think) with a starter, select entrée, shared dessert and bottle of wine for $60 a couple. And any 2 people can split this- it need not be real date.

We stopped in Kincaid's during a blizzard which had pretty much shut down St. Paul. We sat in the bar which had hockey playing on the television. I had the sliders. They were very good. The service was okay - a little slow considering how empty the place was. I suppose people were concerned about getting home.

We made reservations before the show. If I would have made the reservations I would have chosen a different table, this one was in the middle of the restaurant. Consequently we had a lot of traffic. That being said, we had a very good waiter and food was quite good.

Happy hour at Kincaids is absolutely delicious and worth your time. A great spot to hit up before a Wild Game, however get there early, the bar fills up fast! Love the Lavender Cosmo! Favorite snack is the Mini French Dips, so yummy.

We visited Kincaid's for New Years this year and had a wonderful experience. We were seated adjacent the front windows with an excellent view of the Christmas lights across the street at in the park. The staff was great, food was wonderful and location was perfect for the season.

We never seem to take the time to eat dinner there. We always end up in downtown St Paul for drinks and appetizers and this place is great. Their basil gimlet is a must try. Out of this world good. Bar area gets crowded and hard to find seating. Staff is usually very good. Our last time there was the... More

I was there for a dinner function with approximately 28 other people. Service was prompt, especially considering the size of our group. I was surprised dinner did not take forever. I had a filet, with mashed potatoes and asparagus for entree. I tried the lobster bisque, clam chowder and caesar salad appetizers. And I had cheesecake for dessert. All of... More

OK, I'll give them a break...it was New Years eve, the place was packed, they were slammed. The table waiter was new, the menu limited. The food came out room temperature. The scallops were bland and over soaked in an uninviting flavored cooking oil. The first Prime rib came with two hunks of fat larger than the eatable portion. The... More

We went to Kincaid's in St. Paul for Xmas dinner this year. The food was basically all right, but not great. The biggest disappointment was the small selection. There was no fish except salmon and no fowl, duck, chicken or turkey dishes on their menu. I can understand that on a holiday they may have had a smaller staff in... More

We have been coming to Kincaid's for years. We usually frequent the Bloomington location but once a year we get tickets to the Ordway and hit Kincaid's prior to the show. The food is consistently good and the wine list is extensive. They always seem to have an abundance of staff and the service is typically outstanding. You can't go... More
