Let the record show: I am not cheap. I am always willing to pay for really good food and really good service. But I must say that this place - even at lunchtime - is so over-the-top-expensive it makes me chuckle. For example, if you want a Caesar salad and a piece of salmon (hardly an original lunch item or... More

We did not plan ahead before a sports event, and felt very lucky to find 2 seats at the bar in Kincaid's. Service was prompt and attentive and the calamari was top notch. We also had a Caesar salad and finished off with a yummy bread pudding and ice cream. Reduced price house wine during happy hour.

Kincaid's in St. Paul has a great atmosphere and has excellent service. For business dinners and private occasions, Kincaid's is one of my top choices. The atmosphere is elegant and quiet enough for good conversations. Service is always the best and the food is wonderful. You will not be disappointed choosing this place.

As always, great service and food. Our group of four dinned for a pre-Ordway event and our waiter, Christian, was super. He made the night special. Everyone’s food was delicious, however, my only complaint was my Filet Oscar was served with the crab meat not atop my steak, but inside a ramekin atop and in the Béarnaise sauce. It was... More

We came with a group for appetizers and drinks in the lounge area. The food was delicious. We enjoyed the chilled oysters and the warm brie. The service was prompt and our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Even though the restaurant was busy due to downtown events, the service was attentive. We enjoyed our visit and will be back to... More

Four of us went to Kincaid's prior to seeing "White Christmas" at the Ordway. The waiter was very attentive to our time constraints and had excellent menu suggestions. I tried the Blackened corvina fish entrée with parsnip puree over a bed of orzo and side of Toy Box carrots. The dish was just plain over the top delicious.

Excellent service, menu, and price value overall. Went here for lobster tails with drawn butter. Lobster was served exceptionally dry and salty. :-( Won't be going back for the lobster...but will return for other menu items.

Kincaids has pretty consistent good service and food. As noted in the title, it's hard to go wrong with the lobster bisque as a start to the meal. The Maytag blue cheese salad is also great. The wine list seems to vary over the years (from stuff we know and like to stuff we've never heard of). Like it's next... More

We had a brief stay in St. Paul and this restaurant was very near the St. Paul Hotel where we were staying. My husband wanted a bigger meal than I and this place fit the bill. We dined in the nearly deserted bar area which is stunning and offered their happy hour menu from 3:00p.m. thru the evening. We split... More

It's a great restaurant for couples or business. The servers were excellent, drinks were mixed well, clam chowder was excellent (not too thick), prime rib was prepared perfectly. The crime brûlée was a little too sweet for my taste, so I only ate half. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for fine dining.
