While the soups are still a bit starchy, the salads are creatively new, great fresh rolls and bread. The "draw" are those creamy chocolatey, chesscakey pastries. My favorite, French Coconut whipped cream cake is worth the entire drive across the Mississippi River to St Paul. Fantastic.

This place was really great and interesting. It is cafeteria style and you can see all of your food being prepared. There was pizza, all sorts of salads, soups and sandwiches. The food is very fresh. The pizza was honestly one of the tastiest I have ever had. I honestly did not expect to find that in St. Paul. Their... More

Always a good lunch with lots of mix and match lunch choices. Get there at 11 if going for lunch as it can be super busy. It is cafeteria style restaurant so you grab a tray and make your choices for food -- you can ask for a taste before ordering which is nice. If you don't find a seat... More

Cafe latte is one of the best casual spots in town. Everything they offer is fantastic. If you are a soup lover, this place is for you. Different choices each day however I've been going here for years and have never been disappointed. And the pastries. Oh my. Just wait until you see the cakes. From the famous turtle cake... More

We always go to Cafe Latte for Chicken Salsa Chili and cheesecake! Delightful! They have a sandwich or two kids would eat, but more adult-ish.

Cafe Latte has been around for years now and remains as yummy as it was when Victoria Crossing was just a baby. On my most recent visit I had the three salad combo and the seafood salad was my fave, just delectable. I didn't have soup on this last occasion as it was hot out but the soups have never... More

We could tell when we first arrived that Cafe Latte is a go-to place. Customers were upbeat and looking forward to deciding what to order. Our choices of soups, salads, breads, drinks ticked all the boxes for quantity, freshness, flavor. Staff was helpful and pleasant. Despite the crowd, seating was available. There was no rush to eat and leave. -... More

Went in for a cup of coffee and possibly some cake. I had contemplated getting soup and salad for home. The waitress clearly wasn't wanting to wait on customers. I asked what was in the strawberry/rhubarb cobbler. She didn't reply. I was asking because my son has kidney disease and the amount of baking powder can be a concern. So... More
