What happened???? This has been our favorite pizza for FORTY YEARS! We went Sunday night, and our first pizza had thick, doughy, raw crust and virtually no sauce. We sent it back explaining that we had been eating this pizza for 40 years, it was our favorite, and clearly defined what was wrong with the crust and sauce. The second... More

I love this pizza! The generous toppings, the flavor of the sauce, & the crust. The wait staff is alway great too!

Great if you are looking for an older established pizza joint near but not in the downtown area. Our server was quite helpful but they don't have a kids menu.

Many people say they have the best pizza. This place seems like it hasn't changed in the past 50 years. I don't think it has. It is real 'old school'. Great pizza.

Showed up for lunch yesterday. Took a while for someone to come to our table. Placed the drink order and those came out fairly normal. Then placed the pizza order and waited 20 minutes or so for the pizza to come out - understandable. But the waitress never came back over once - while my drink sat empty. She did... More

Crispy crust, plenty of cheese and toppings. Just what a good traditional pizza should be. We've been coming here for over 20 years with about a 20 year break since our last visit! Nice to see it hasn't changed....at all! I have no problem with that and if you want to think the unchanged interior is "retro" go right ahead,... More

I wasn't sure about trying this place based on the building exterior. But I was pleasantly surprised! The pizza was fresh, hot and tasty! Worth the visit. Best pizza I've had in a while. Good for casual dining.

I was actually thinking they were closed and if I had not been with my Son-In-Law who lives nearby I would have been afraid to go in. What a great surprise. Very retro 60's decor, but clean and in great shape. The beer was very cold and the pizza was the best I have ever had. Perfect crust, sauce spiced... More

Stopped in at the Fridley location, today, Tuesday, they have half price slices so got one slice Pepperoni $3.99 ÷ 2 = 2.99 and one slice of Sausage $ 3.99 ÷ 2= $ 2.99 not a bad deal. the pizza is delicious lots of cheese and meat.

Not exactly upscale decor but fantastic pizza. Bar is pretty cool too but, go there for the best pizza in town. I like carbon's on Randolph too.

Thank Mike T
