I've eaten a lot of pizza in a lot of different places including Italy but this was definitely was one of the best specially if you like thin crust. It's a simple place with a simple decor but service is prompt and there's a good selection of local draft beer. Definitely recommended if you are a pizza lover!

Nice variety of pizza options and beers on tap. 1 pizza fed 3 people with leftovers for lunch for the next day. Fennel sausage, spicy salami, green olive and onion pizza was really nice. Good service. Fairly fast service as well.

This place is definitely a stop for their gourmet thin crust wood fired pizza's. The pizza was delicious and the large easily fed two adults. The ambiance is nothing to get excited about, it is all about the food here.

When we arrived we were seated right away. Our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and made a few suggestions. Our pizza was delicious. The crust was crusty yet chewy. We had an olive appetizer that was also very good. The music was not loud so we could hear each other talk.

Great selections for food and drink, quiet place, fun atmosphere, really good food. A little pricey for the coal fire hype but the pizza was quick and great.

We ate at Black Sheep a couple weeks ago when in St Paul for the weekend. Our flight arrived late into MSP so by the time we checked into our hotel we were pretty hungry. We came across this restaurant as we walked around downtown St Paul. It seemed interesting and inviting from the street and we weren't disappointed! Both... More

Very tasty pizza, crust is perfect - light, crispy and fresh. Ingredients are fresh too. Staff is nice and service is fast.

This little unassuming looking shop served me some of the best pizza I've tasted in my travels. Came here for dinner on a Saturday evening and sat at the bar looking at the giant coal fire oven. Everything is made fresh in front of your eyes and the ingredients are top notch. If you have a pizza crave, you can't... More

The crust is fantastic and the ingredients were delicious. I have definitely had better pizza, and certainly had a lot worse. I would have liked more cheese, for sure. I found the pizza to be expensive, even for StPaul, but not totally unreasonable. As a starter, I split the spinach and blue cheese salad which was delicious and did not... More

Decided to try this restaurant after walking past it on our way to the children's museum. We built our own pizzas. We got 12 inch pizzas. One for our kids and one for my husband and me. Delicious crust. Love it being coal fired. Sauce was perfect in taste and amount. Toppings were great that we had ordered (pepperoni, cheese,... More
