Stir Fry only item on the menu. You pick the ingredients served in a paper carton. Very delicious. Across the street from historic Union Depot.

Wok place, but they had a lot of gluten free options. Everyone liked their food. We ate in and really would have liked plates, but the to go containers were ok.

I ordered delivery from here, a large chicken rice with some veggies. The container had an inch to the top that was empty. Carrots and broccoli barely noticeable. Snow peas crunchy. I had the garlic, ginger and soy sauce which was okay, a bit heavy...with the sauce with had it a little salty. But overall good and actually sent silverware along with chopsticks. First one to do that.More

I'd like to see kiosk and card payments contained to airports as long as possible. The food that you get is drowned in sauce and mixed about in a way where the meal is essentially homogeneous. Every bite will taste the same. Do not expect...any surprise bites or pockets of flavor. Instead, expect a muddled noodle dish. This is a low quality, overpriced cafeteria without smiling lunch ladies.More

This is a concept I am seeing all over the world at this point. It’s a counter service place. You choose from rice or several types of noodles, protein with tofu for vegetarians, vegetables—including purple Brussels sports which I have never seen before, and a...sauce. Your choices are made an paid on a computer screen. You enter your mobile number to be notified when your dish is complete. We were almost the only people in the place for an early dinner and the servers brought our food to the table when we couldn’t hear our names called because the music was quite loud. Between the music and the TV screens. It can make conversation a challenge, although we managed for 3 1/2 hours. The restaurant sits at the Union Depot light rail stop which makes it a pretty good meeting place. I would go back.More

I've been seeing things about this place and the positive reviews made me want to check it out. I finally made it over here for lunch today. I thought they had taken over Hygga's old space next door but this is a fresh new restaurant...space that has a great atmosphere. You step up to one of 3 iPads and place your order online and pay. It has the looks and feel of a Chipotle but for Asian stir fry. the iPads could potentially cut down on the lines, but may be a bit confusing for new users although they are right there to help you. What I liked: It's quick, fresh ingredients, it has amazing flavors, options to make it healthy or gluten free, adding a protein(Chicken for me) meant a lot of meat included, it's cooked fresh while you wait, they have a great atmosphere inside. What I didn't love: Unlike Chipotle, your boxed into the option with the online ordering, no feedback, no "a little extra", no idea what the "Power slaw medley" is or looks like, the portion seemed a bit small for $13(before tip) and light on vegetables and heavy on noodles, there are no pre-maid or mixed options if I don't want to make so many choices and lastly, the default tip options(20%, 15%, 15%) when this is self service seemed a bit bold. All that considered, it is really good! If their price point was under $10, I would consider this a regular stop, but with it as is, I'll probably check them out in 6 months and see if anythings changed.More

Icy roads, cold temperatures, and a "ton" of snow could not keep us from attending a live concert at the History Theatre and dinner at The Urban Wok in downtown St. Paul. Jose Mendoza, master wok/kitchen manager, greeted us with a complimentary fresh hot cup...of coffee. He was there to help us with our Kiosk ordering challenges and of course prepared a great meal. Customers choose from a variety of meats, veggies and pastas to create their individual meal. It was cooked and and delivered hot in a timely manner to the table. All 12 enjoyed their meals. One of our group did have a challenge eating the pasta as it stuck together in large clumps. In retrospect, she should have sent it back. Flatware and plates are all ecologically friendly and are properly recycled. Light rail stops right in front of the Urban Wok which is a plus. Without a doubt, we will be back again hopefully on a nicer day with Jose to greet us at the door.More

My son and I had an early lunch last Saturday at Urban Wok. The lady was very nice and helpful in explaining how things work, etc. The food was delicious! It was pretty close to the light rail. Hoping they thrive down there and I...would love to see additional locations in the Twin Cities area. I had rice noodles, chicken, a number of fresh vegetables and the exceptional peanut sauce! We both thought peanuts would be a nice addition to both of our dishes, but did not notice any available, but did not ask! I will go back.More

Pleasantly surprised by this fast casual wok concept. The service was excellent and the manager was very helpful in advising us on what to order. Good portion size and all ingredients were fresh. The even have an option to bring your selection home to cook...yourself for $3 cheaper. I’ll definitely be back!More

The ordering system is on a tablet by the kitchen. There are people to help if you need help. Great choices. They only take plastic, no cash, but that's not a problem for most. They offer extra sauces when they bring your choices to the...table. Great service. My only wish would be that I were to be offered a plate. All the dinners are served in the to-go boxes. A plate would have made it easier to use chop sticks. But that 's not a show stopper. I'll be back.More
