Came here at a friend's suggestion. Really impressed. We started with several appetizers, Steamed Xiao Long Bao and Gyoza ( Japanese potstickers) Then we had crispy chicken domburi. Very pleased with the service and the quality of the food. Strongly recommended.

This place is unassuming with plenty of parking. Small dining area that can maybe had about a dozen tables. My seafood ramen was great, the broth was very savory. My only gripe was that it could’ve had a bit more seafood. My wife loved her stir fried chicken ramen. She loved her large plate of noodles. Would definitely return.

The restaurant's name now is Ishita Ramen. Same location. The food is quite good and the service is quick and friendly. One of us had beef ramen, the other had crispy chicken ramen. Both had very good flavor and reasonable prices. Egg rolls were ok - average at best. Suggest skipping them. Free parking is available next to the building. Special shout out to our wait person, Nancy, who was very helpful.

The name is Ishita NOT Ichiddo. The food is fantastic! Great appetizers and everything we tried was yummy!

So, I ordered Ichiddo Ramen from door dash, they appear to have moved to Highland Park. Also, the menu that came with my meal said Ishita Ramen, but looked just like Ichiddo and had the same menu and pricing. I got the Chicken Stir Fry Ramen($10) with a piece of Char Siu as I wanted to try it. My friend ordered the Teriyaki Ton ramen($12) and made a far better choice in my opinion. The stir fry is heavy on the ramen noodles and ends up being a bit dry and difficult to eat. It's done well but I just didn't love it. I ended up pouring a bit of my friends broth into my dish and that helped with the dryness of the dish. When I see Pork Belly, I get all excited and think crispy fried pork... unfortunately this was cooked but not crispy and left a lot to be desired. I tried my friends ramen and I will just say it was really good! Rich, deep flavors, different than Tori Ramen but similar in quality. I would definitely get their broth based ramen again.

Frequently ordered through a food delivery app this place does not disappoint. I have not been to the restaurant but they take pride in deliveries and ensuring orders are correct. Orders are always correct a (I like to omit certain ingredients and ask for extra sauces and spices) and sealed tight. Even the fried appetizers arrive still crunchy and warm. I have toured their menu and have enjoyd the crispy chicken ramen, beef ramen. And their appetizers are amazing. The crab jalepeno poppers are gourmet but even picky eaters enjoyed them at my house. The beef donburi was tasty but a little boring. I enjoy a flavor packed broth and prefer the spicy base over the soy sauce. If you dont like a robust broth the soy sauce base is a good option. I will continue to order here as long as the delivery service offers them.

We were driving down University around 1pm, looking for an Asian spot that we hadn’t been to yet. There was Ichiddo. What a lovely smaller restaurant. The wait staff was great - very friendly and prompt. I am unfamiliar with ramen shops and had to ask for recommendations. The waitress narrowed down what I like in food and made a suggestion. It was fantastic. I had Shredded Char Siu Ramen. And my wife had kimchi ramen. It was a cold day but we both warmed up quickly. The hot tea was extremely interesting and good. I know we will be going back and I think I’ll try some stir fry ramen next time and maybe even an appetizer, not that I’ll need it as the portions are large, but what the heck. You’ve gotta try this place.

We really enjoyed the Ramen here. We got 5 bowls of ramen in soup for the kids and they were a hit. I had the Shredded Char Siu Ramen and it was delicious. My husband enjoyed the Kimchi Ramen and he found it to be delectable as well. The Kimchi was definitely more spicy than the Char Siu. Appetizers are also good and are priced for $2.95 to $5.95 which seemed crazy cheap. We will be back :)

This restaurant was ok but not the best I have ever had. It is great Ramen in a pinch but it is not the first place to go!

Two of us went here for dinner on a Tuesday, about 6:30pm. Service was fast, and waiter friendly. Ramen bowls - we tried Teriyaki Ton Ramen and Niku Soba Ramen, two of the 11 main Ramen options - were good sized portions without being too much food. Both were flavourful. Accompanying cold sake was a good pairing. We would definitely eat here again. And we live locally, so we will.

I've only been once (trying to taste all the flavors in the Twin Cities), but I would go back. Ordered the vegetarian pho, which had a wonderful broth and fresh veggies and toppings. I ordered and took this home. It was quick, only a ten minute way, if that, and was supplied with everything needed to fully enjoy pho. Oh, and a pretty good price, too. All around has what you need when you are sick and feeling like a good bowl of hot soup.

I dined at the St.Paul location last week solo. The Kimchi Ramen was fantastic - broth was delicious as well as the noodles and all the accoutrements . There is a wide variety of different kinds of ramen and the ability to add any extra ingredients you may think would enhance your bowl. I also had the short rib appetizer that was great as well - a little chewy but tons of flavor - Looking forward to going back and exploring more on the menu. Glad to have another quality place to choose from on University Ave

I went to the Mpls location. First of all, I don't ever eat ramen, but I wanted to give this place a try. I really enjoyed it and I was amused by the favor and texture of the noodles. The broth was very tasteful and bold. The ramen was more like noodles, very firm. The sides or appetizers were amazing. The dessert was cute. I do recommend everyone give this place a try. I like my broth spicy so I asked for spicy pepper sauce. The staffs doesn't speak much English but it's do-able. I gave it a 4-star because the food was a bit pricey for a bowl of ramen. Must try, the atmosphere is excellent here.

I stopped in on Mother's day with my mom. We shared an order of dumplings and each had a different ramen. Hers was beef and my was Kimchi. So very delicious! The food came out fast. Both ramens were delicious. The Kimchi ramen was fantastic, though. It was very spicy. The broth was amazing. I will definitely go back.

I'm afraid this was my first and last time there. I had the seafood ramen. It was okay but nothing special. The noodles are a run-of-the-mill commercial brand. As with most restaurants these days, the 'crab' is not crab but what are better known as 'sea legs', which are mostly pollock and too many non-fish ingredients. It's certainly better than McDonald's or Arby's, but in that part of town, there are great Vietnamese places to choose from, especially right across the street. Also, it's only a few miles from Tampopo so why not go there instead? Whomever thinks this is the best ramen in town is woefully ignorant.
