My favorite spot in Twin Cities that never disappoints. Literally every item on the menu is a hit! By Chilean bass is my absolute favorite.

We were out with two couples. Fantastic food all around with great, attentive service. Great place to go for date night or business.
Lovely! Saturday night, boyfriend wants to go out to dinner and we’ve no reservations. Usual suspects fully booked and found Mill Valley Kitchen had openings. Mario, our server, showed genuine pride of how the restaurant pays reverence to the use of local, organic ingredients whenever...possible; and he went over and beyond ensuring our wine was a perfect choice. Our beet salad was made with frisee greens bathed in an excellent dressing. The Cioppino was a flawless fusion of herbs and saffron, and the sea bass was good. To top if off, Mario created the perfect elixir of dessert tastings (you might have to charm your way to get this!). Mill Valley Kitchen is in our top tier for restaurants in Mlps. Thank you, Mario et al, for a perfect evening!More
We just love Mill Valley. The service is wonderful and the food is always delicious and fresh! We love the outdoor seating too.
We made our second visit to Mill Valley Kitchen on Valentine's Day, and it was an even better experience than the first time. We went with mixed greens and the striped bass for two special. The bass was delicious, and provided us with leftovers for...a couple days. I also had a beer and my wife ordered a bottle of wine. The seem to have a very good wine selection, and a decent number and variety of beers. I may be wrong, but it seems like they've removed a few tables since our last visit. It was very packed in then, but it seemed much more open and easy to move around this time.More
Had another lovely experience at Mill Valley Kitchen! Excellent service, outstanding food and perfect ambience. It’s a perfect spot for dining. Will definitely return
The food was yummy, but the service was pathetic. We didn’t receive our side dish and when we pointed this out, our server said, “oh, I see it!” Then she said because it sat so long, she would have it re-done. We didn’t get it...and asked to have it removed from the bill. The bill included the item. We asked for a revised bill and we got someone else’s bill. The server thought it was funny. We didn’t.More
All I have to say is Excellent! Everything from ambiance, cocktails, food to service was absolutely excellent!!
We had 4 different meals and a shared dessert. It was wonderful. I had one of their flatbreads. I had it because I wanted something light. I have had flatbreads before - they are fine....normally. This was wonderful. I would order it again in a...heartbeat. The atmosphere was fun and the service very good. I will return. I highly recommend this.More
We had a very nice dinner with friends this past Saturday evening. We had reservations, and asked for a quite area. They seated us in a booth, which was fine for conversation. They had just introduced their winter menu, and we tried three of their...items == all very good. They also have a nice wine selection. It was a very nice evening.More
Friends brought us here for dinner. Be sure to have reservations. The place was packed. The restaurant has tables on one side and an open kitchen. Everyone enjoyed their food. The chicken on risotto was amazing. A great find. Can hardly wait to return.
All four of us enjoyed our meals. The cocktails were interesting and the staff friendly. I’ll be back!
Good seabass and vegetables both time. Nice service and atmosphere Parking and valet in front of the restaurant Noise level ok
The service was great and delicious food. Perfect sized dessert (mango chia parfait and peach blueberry cheesecake) for the mature appetite.
My friend and I went here this week for happy hour. Great drink and small plate specials. I tried the pineapple martini. It was very good but the waiter explained before I had it that the staff had added cinnamon to this batch and he...preferred it without. I ordered it and have the same opinion. No cinnamon needed in this light summer drink. Might’ve better for a winter twist on it. We also tried a tequila mule. Very good! Has a tangy bite from the fresh ginger they put in it. For appetizers we tried the roasted cauliflower, the spicy edamame and the hummus with veggies. Warning- The edamame was very spicy! Love the atmosphere and decor - seemed similar to Cov. This is a hidden gem if you want to get away from the busy restaurants at West End or Uptown.More
