Nice spot downtown. Old school drinks...can get them by the pitcher the night we were there. Friendly bartender who took VERY good care of us. This place has been there forever!

After going to college outside of St. Cloud I grew to appreciate DB Searles. Winter formals & the like were just not complete w/o a great dinner at DB Searles. Years went by & when i finally back in the mid 2000's a lot of the polish had worn off. I'm glad to say it is back. Everything at the... More

Went on the recommendation of the hostess at our B&B. Appears to be one of the better restaurants in the area. Had a local draft beer at the 1st floor bar and then walked upstairs to 3rd floor for dinner. Excellent service and reasonably good food. Probably as good a meal as you'll find in the St. Cloud area.

We had dinner here very recently and the food was delicious. We sat next to an open window on the third floor and enjoyed the view of downtown St. Cloud. The service was friendly and helpful. We wanted to order beer on tap and the waitress answered all our questions about local selections. Yes, the place is not as crowded... More

D.B Searle's is in a building that is 124 years old, I sat at the top floor, Loved it. My waiter was very polite. Ordered a Bacardi coke and it was a good strong drink. The steak was best steak I have every had and cooked the way I like it! (Rare) it was served with seasoned red potatoes.... The... More

Love the food and atmosphere! Local favorite! Local farm to table, one of the few in the area! Beautiful historic building with a unique menu and great service!

We eat at this restaurant for convenience when taking in shows at PP5 (right next door). Every time we go we cross our fingers and know from experience that the food is always hit or miss. We are always shocked at how empty this place is because the location and historic building are AWESOME! But sadly understand based on the... More

Years ago, this was a favorite place to eat. Went a week ago and it was horrible. The hamburgers were dried out and tasteless. Mashed potatoes were cold and too sweet. Employees off shift were loud and distracting. Prices were high for this type of experience. Service was slow and she I'd nothing when told how bad the food was.... More

Food sucked. Wine sucked. The building is sweet! Service was good. I had salad and beef stew. Both were average. Stew seemed microwaved. House salad and dressing were bland. Red wine tasted spoiled like vinegar. Would maybe try a second time but would not recommend. Would definitely go back for a beer though. Beer menu was very comprehensive.
