This is the original Newt's and worth the trip. Plan ahead if you are going on peak hours. In the summer there is patio seating that helps decrease the wait time but that also creates additional demand. The food portions are generous and the servers are almost always upbeat and fast. Then there's the free popcorn......worth the wait and the... More

With 3 locations now in Rochester, it is now easier to get in without waiting. Always delicious and good service. The kids love their milkshakes. Fast and friendly service.

Good customer service and nice environment. Medium Rare burger, a little too rare but it all tasted good!

We stopped at the downtown Newts for a quick bite. The room was dark and musty. The floor covered in popcorn. The bathrooms were unpleasant. Food was average.

If you are looking for a burger in Rochester, this is your spot. A variety of burgers and food, the Marvin, with a chipotle mayo and bacon, juicy Lucy.... Don't burn your lips!

If one ever sees a juicy Lucy on a menu, you know the place your in knows what a good burger is! Awesome 1/2 pound burgers and a ton of fries. If you are saying to yourself, it's too big, I can't eat that much, I can assure you that you won't even realize when you're half way through, you'll... More

Newts is a Rochester original that had some good burgers. The original location was downtown Roch. Food was fairly good and service was good. They now have 2 more locations. Been to both of them and burgers just aren't good anymore. Overcooked, dry and flavorless. Service is mediocre at best. We have given them several chances and they just aren't... More

Service lags when they are busy but I've never had a bad burger! Great place if you want to watch a game or be in a place so loud that you can't (don't have to) talk to your family :-)

For a place that claims to have the best burgers in Rochester, I'd hate to try burgers elsewhere! My companions ordered theirs cooked medium and I ordered medium rare. All three were overcooked and had little taste. We had to add ketchup and mustard for moisture! In full disclosure, we're not from MN or WS, maybe that's the way they... More
