Nothing special. Food was heavy and not as fresh as it could have been. Service was average. The table had been whiled clean before we arrived but was still sticky with syrup. Food is comparable to an I-Hop.

Benedict’s has good food although quantity is a little suspect. Service is fine. Prices are too high to be a value. Lunch was $40 before tip(for two).

We have actually had breakfast here. The Steak Benedict was quite good and the sauce combined well. Also, ordered The Standard: the food quality was really good or I was really hungry. The hash browns were unusually tasty.

Fantastic breakfast restaurant We had eggs and home fries and a grilled cheese brioche bread sandwich and a plate if fresh fruit with a king like presentation. We loved this restaurant.

Fantastic food, we had an early breakfast here and it was wonderful. I love eggs benedict and these were the best I have ever had. My husband loved his meal too pancakes were fluffy and delicious and his eggs and sausage were wonderful. He said...his black coffee was the real test and he loved it. Service was polite and quick and the atmosphere was fun. We were staying in the Hilton up stairs but it would be very easy the get there from any nearby place. Highly recommend, we will for sure be going back on our next visit.More

We ordered carry out from here one morning. Food was good, will definitely try again next time. Ordered classic benedict, and husband had the 'Jimmy' I think it was called- two eggs, 2 pancakes and bacon.

We've been here a couple of times and have always had friendly, fast service. Fresh squeezed OJ is wonderful! My husband had the old bay lobster Benedict and it was very good, lobster tasted fresh and buttery with the old bay-seasoned hollandaise. I had the...corned beef hash and it was perfect, tender and flavorful meat with hashed brown rounds. Eggs are always cooked perfectly. Their hollandaise sauce is one of the best I've ever had, they serve it in a small side dish so I usually order extra. Only complaint is that it becomes a very pricey ticket just for breakfast...but we are never disappointed and will continue to go back for more.More

12 minutes ago-Edit We ate at Benedict's a year ago after an appointment at Mayo. It was new then and had wonderful food. It was such a great experience that we returned there again this past week and brought with us a Rochester resident. This...restaurant has GREAT food and service. Two of us had the Build Your Own Omelet. It was the best omelet I have had in years.....very full of the extras I chose and very fluffy. The side of fruit was very good. My husband had the French Toast and a side of bacon. He loved the French toast and ate all of it. The side of bacon was well prepared and very generous. Our friend from Rochester, who had never been there, was very impressed. We found the prices to be no higher that we would see in Minneapolis with better food at Benedict's!!! We plan to eat there again when we return to Mayo Clinic. Having coming to Mayo Clinic for the last 30+ years, this is the best breakfast/brunch we have ever eaten in Rochester, MN.More

After days of poking and prodding and plenty of health advice from the nearby Mayo Clinic, I needed a superlative breakfast. Not a good breakfast...I required a superlative breakfast. I found it at Benedict’s. Benedict’s offered the MOST DELICIOUS CORNED BEEF AND EGG BREAKFAST I’ve...ever had — in my whole life. And if I’ve ever written that about any other corned beef breakfast before, please disregard my previous review! And do you know why? Fresh (not canned) corned beef? Yes. BUT, and here’s the kicker: instead of the corned beef mixed with tiny pieces of potato, it was accompanied by GIANT TOTS (photos attached). PLUS (and believe me it’s a big plus), the chef showed real innovation in the way he added onions and some delicious rustic-ground mustard. Benedict’s was so good, if I’d had the time (the relentless physicians required more time to tell me I’m a medical mystery), I would have stayed in the same spot for lunch! The hostess and wait staff were efficient, kind and not intrusive and let me read my newspaper in peace (although the NYT rarely imparts peace). Keep up the good work Benedict’s! IF the doctors require my body for another examination next year, I’ll be back!More
