I usually try to eat here when I come to Rochester. I had the Lobster Bisque, which was excellent. The crab cake was also done very well. The signature Insignia Scallops where cooked well, but I didn’t enjoy the mushroom broth on them. Service was...excellent and the glass of Chenin Blanc was a good choice.More

Excellent sums things up. The food, I had a small tenderloin and my wife had fish, were excellent. The atmosphere is pleasant and our server, Michael was top notch. Next time to Rochester I will go to Pescara

Tuna was sublime! Both tuna tartare with avocado and capers and the seared sesame tuna main course were outstanding! Grilled halibut was also a highlight! Chris provided friendly, competent service. At his suggestion we ordered half-sized side dishes which were more than enough. Our only...issue was the large size of the servings (which nobody else complains about)! We will remember these wonderful flavors and textures for a very long time and plan to come back.More

It’s been a while we went to Pescara. Before we first moved to Minnesota a few years back we stayed in the Hilton hotel so that was where we went for breakfast and lunch everyday. Somehow we never went back after that. I had booked...through Opentable this time but when we arrived there we still had to wait about 20 mins to be seated because there wasn’t enough servers. What we ordered: Nojito: this was very good. Perfectly sweet, sour and minty. Apple Juice Soup of the Day: it was just average. It felt like a jar of salsa combined with some chicken stock. There was nothing special about it. Farmhouse Omelette: they had run out of goat cheese so they swapped with Gouda which worked fine although it was a bit strange that they have something on the menu but not all the materials for it. Fish & Chips: there were sparse morsels of fish in a fluffy batter and the rest of the plate was filled with fries and condiments. While both the fish and the fries were delicious, some more fish would have been good. The fish portion seemed disproportionate to what one would expect from a Fish n Chips plate. I don’t know if that’s the usual portion or whether they’d run out of fish that day! Eggs Benedict was good. It was creamy and buttery and perfectly done. Creme Brûlée: the custard itself wasn’t worth mentioning but the brûlée bit was done pretty well. I’ve had so many creme brûlée in my life that I consider myself a bit of a connoisseur at least in distinguishing a good cream brûlée from an average one! Chocolate Torte: very heavy and deliciously smooth and creamy. One portion was enough to share amongst us. This restaurant is a moderately expensive place to eat at like most places in Rochester. The food however was not memorable enough to go back any time soon.More

We had an early dinner and enjoyed everything. The salads were fresh and the sauces were done to perfection. The service was professional and great wines by the glass. I highly recommend.

We enjoyed several hours of food and drink in December and our entire party of 8 enjoyed the service and food. This place specializes in fish and you need to just go for it! Try the seared tuna. It was perfectly seared and covered with...herbs and a teriyaki sauce. On a bed of soba noodles. It was devine. Everyone wanted to try mine!More

The food here is absolutely outstanding. Unfortunately, employees are not required to wear masks. This is most troubling given that Rochester is home to Mayo Clinic. The hospital is filled with Covid patients. It’s my hope that management will do the right thing and require...employees to mask so that we do not make the current health crisis worse than it already is. NOT Covid safe.More

Our third visit to Mayo Clinic and third visit to Pescara. Each time our meal was excellent, as was the service. Each day we were able to get reservations for same day dining. Within walking distance to the Kahler Grand.

Best meal in a month. We always come here for the seafood but today I ordered steak. Perfectly prepared. Lobster bisque is an absolute must. Only truly good wine list in Rochester. My server Michael was the absolute best partner to make my experience stellar.

Top quality food and service. My halibut was over the top wonderful (and I’m writing this from Alaska where I am currently and have sampled this state’s fish for the last 10 days). Highly recommend this restaurant.
