Enjoyed our visit here and we were made to feel very welcome by the staff. Nice surroundings and comfortable seating. The wine list is good and most pair well with the meal offerings. My wife had a salad and I was pleased with the risotto...dish. Overall, an affable place for a meal and glass of wine. Would visit again.More

This is our 3rd time to this adorable wine bar. The lighting is perfect for a wine bar. Sometimes they are too dark and other times, so bright it takes away from the ambiance- this s perfect, soft and romantic. The wine selection is good...and the server let us try 4 of them before we made our decision- she was so sweet to accommodate us. We chose the “Cab” which was perfect. The artwork in the bar is fantastic and fits perfectly. Seating is comfortable. So, now to the food. It is truly wonderful. We had 4 different entrees and all of them were absolutely delicious and prepared to perfection. Two of us are vegetarian and these dishes did not disappoint. The bar is up for sale and I only hope whoever takes over this wonderful place does as well as the current owners. We traveled from St. Paul to Red Wing just to come here for the evening so it was a destination restaurant for us. We have plenty of wine bars in the twin cities, but this one has captured our hearts and stomachs. I hope this was helpful, if so please give me a thumbs up. It is also a place you could bring your children and feel comfortable. It is a perfect spot for a romantic night out as well!!More

We sat in the bar area and it was decorated very nicely for the holidays. It was a nice, quiet, romantic seating area for dinner. The food was outstanding. I had the Sunday Supper Risotto and it was really great! Out server was awesome and...very knowledgable when helping us pick out a bottle of wine. I would highly recommend this place!More

I've never had bad food or service at Oliver's! This is a fantastic spot for a date night or catching up with a best friend. I come for the pasta and the prices are comparable to similar restaurants in the Twin Cities. I'm also a...Blue Cheese fan and I love that they offer several dishes starring this ingredient. (Don't judge me. lol) Good selection of wine and beer, not overly huge. The hours are limited, so please check their website before arriving.More

This place is a must to experience in Red Wing. The ambiance is lovely and perfect for a date night. I have tried many of the dishes and enjoy it all. Brian and Tom (the owners) have created a slice of heaven with this watery.

Stopped through on a recent couples trip to Red Wing. We had no trouble getting a seat on a Saturday night in early November. The staff were friendly, and service was quick. If you don’t like cheese, maybe find a different spot to eat. Everything...we had was pretty tasty - the baked feta, the Italian enchiladas, and the angry pasta, although my wife reported the pasta chicken was quite dry and the dish unevenly spiced. Fair prices - a meal for two, an appetizer and a glass of wine set us back about fifty dollars.More

This was our second trip to Oliver's and all four of us enjoyed the food. The rosita is especially tasty. The only negative for the evening was a 45 minute wait for our food after it was ordered.

A great restaurant for very good food at a reasonable price. Nice wine selection to choose from. They ask if you need the gluten free menu when you walk in the door. Nice ambiance for a quiet meal, small group or dining on your own....Friendly, knowledgeable and attentive staff.More

The atmosphere is special and the food is excellent. The staff was good and the wine was also very good. We had the artichoke dip and it was probably one of the best I have ever had. In addition, we did the flatbread and I...definitely recommend the one with prosciutto, it was exceptional.More

A restaurant that serves great food at reasonable prices and is a aesthetically pleasant location. The wine selection is adequate and the restaurant is also conveniently located close to the Sheldon Theatre.

So sorry! Just saw your question. Kid friendly means different things to different people, and I don't have children. I enjoy them, though! I have seen families with kids there.

Most likely at bayside right next to Kelly's bar, is located in old Main Street, I know is a steakhouse but I'm not sure if they serve any seafood.
