Unbelievable food and even better service

Whether you are coming for a drink, some food, the popcorn, atmosphere and friendly staff will always make your time here great. The burgers are to die for, especially the bison burger if it is in season. The farmers burger is also a staple if you like a breakfast type burger. The staff is friendly and always appreciate loyalty to local business! Come check it out!!

Fun, family, kid friendly

I went during happy hour after work. Tv’s were on showing sports, I sat next to a table of 8, 4 of which were young kids. They had a funny balloon lady making lots of ballon animals for the children. The children enjoyed, really enjoyed, their stay. Lots of smiles and conversation. It was a bit noisy, but fun noisy. All ages were there and the atmosphere and attire was really casual. I ordered the deep fried tacos. I received 2 and they were good-sized, with all the fixins. I could only eat one! As I watched plates of comfort foods passing by, I decided I will definitely return. Easy on the wallet too..

We've been coming here for years. Great food. Awesome burgers. Kid friendly. Nice bar area. They have pull tabs and live music normally.

Bring Back normal Bingo

We have been coming to this establishment for years to eat and play bingo. I was expecting the original lady who has been calling bingo for a long time so I brought my friends from out of town to show them how much fun this place is. Well we were told you guys fired her for using technology. Well we will never come to this place again. Bad choice on the individuals who decided to change. I will be informing this out to a lot of friends I know who go there. We are done.

Love the restaurant. Recommend the beer cheese soup and all appetizers during happy hour are all fantastic. I personally love the buffalo chicken quesadilla! We’ve been coming her for years and love it

Great Service and Food

Our waitress was very attentive and helpful (sorry - no name). We inquired about the Paco's Tacos because it's hard to find deep fried tacos anywhere. Our waitress recommended them and that's what both my husband and I ordered. WOW! They were GREAT! Loaded with meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and onions and hot and crispy fried tortilla! Next time though - we'll split an order - my gosh - they are HUGE! And 3 is way too many for one to eat!

This was on of the first places that we ate after moving from California to Minnesota18 years ago. It is one of our favorite restaurants. They have the best beer cheese soup that I have ever had. My wife and I took our son and his girlfriend out to dinner because he was leaving for Kuwait in two days. He chose Sgt Peppers. The tilapia was very good. The N.Y. Strip steak was excellent. Caesar salad was good. The fish wrap was O.K. but I will not order it again. And of course, the beer cheese soup was excellent. On hearing that our son was being deployed to Kuwait, our waiter brought us a complementary chocolate sunday for four. Very nice gesture.

Friday fish fry

Very large menu

I couldn't believe all of the choices on Sgt Peppers' menu. They offer all the different comfort foods you could think of and a good list of monthly lunch specials that are very reasonably priced. We really like the crispy coating on the mushrooms and fish and chips and the garlic chicken flatbread pizza was very tastey. You get large portions at a very good price. I know we'll be returning to this place.

Thanksgiving

We cam here for our family Thanksgiving instead of cooking. The meal was great and the servers did well. Honestly, I think we will do it again next year.

We visited on a weeknight for dinner, the service was very attentive. This is a restaurant that serves popcorn, so we did notice there was a lot of popcorn on the floor. We ordered beer cheese soup to start with and it tasted like it was made with powdered cheese. We both ordered a steak, one of us had the ribeye and one of us had the New York strip. The prices are reasonable and the flavor of the steak was good, but both cuts were very grisly, had to work hard to cut and chew around the gristle.

Excellent Lunch

We stopped in for lunch on a Friday while in the area. The menu offered something for everyone, and the daily lunch specials for $8.99 were plentiful. I tried the pork special which was great. My companion had the bbq burger on a pretzel roll,which was cooked perfectly. Sorry I don’t have the name of our server, she was great!

Food was good. But no one waits on you, you have to go to the counter for refils. It's more like a very small pizza joint.

Not Fresh. Food was mediocre at best. I expect better.

This bar and grill type of restaurant is located in Oakdale by I-694 and 10th St. It has a pretty large dining area with tables and booths, and a bar area that also accommodates eating at tables or in booths. The restaurant and bar have daily specials and events, so check their website for the details. I have been going here since it opened, and even before that, when they were on Century Avenue. In the past the food, atmosphere and service were always good. I remember on one occasion that the manager went to a nearby grocery store to get some item they had run out of. On my last visit I was quite disappointed. They will have to step up their game before I go back. I always thought they had the best beer cheese soup around, but this time it seemed to be over cooked and not as good as usual. I also ordered the BBQ ribs which were disappointing because they were obviously not fresh. They had just been heated up and slathered with BBQ sauce. The meat was hard and dry. My wife had the meatloaf which I tasted and found it was pretty good. The meatloaf looked like it had just been heated up; who knows how old it was. I think they need to try a little harder and hopefully it will get back to it's old quality.
