Love this hidden jewel....

I have been coming here since the place first opened up and they were cooking off residential ranges. Still a first class establishment. Reservations are recommended.

It was fine, but it has a higher end attached to it. Not sure that we loved all of the food, but it has a lovely ambience to it.

Our goup of vintage boaters reserved the dining room for one of the weeks several dinners. Prairie Bay outdid itself with a large crowd; no confusion with orders; timely arrival of salads, entrees and deserts.. Of course the highlight was the walleye on a bed of uniquely prepared and seasoned wild rice. Best meal of many that week. Only problem... More

My family has been coming to the Nisswa area for decades, and we always dined-out at the other, more familiar establishments. When we couldn't get in to some of our regular spots due to convention traffic in the area, we inquired with our resort owner who recommended we try Lost Lake Lodge. What an eclectic, chef-driven menu -- such a... More

I "Returned Home"!!! I worked at the lodge two years in the summer while attending college. My Brainerd friends took me there while visiting them. The food was incredible but much of the place had changed. I hadn't been there in over 30 years!!

Stellar food and a nice up-north atmosphere. Menu items rotate frequently, so its hard to recommend a dish. This latest time, the seared scallops were excellent.

We were informed that the restaurant is under new management this year; we were generally disappointed with their progress. Although we enjoyed the view of the channel from our table and excellent service from Micky, we found that the food preparation and temperature needs improvement. First, the walleye cheeks were overcooked, tough and bland. Also, the au gratin potatoes tasted... More

I was so excited to eat here, it had been years and although the service was great, the food was rather uneventful. The mushroom gratin potatoes were excellent, the stir fry side and the bamboo rice were disappointing, just not as interesting as it sounded. I had the snapper and it lacked depth. It was a large portion, but just... More

We had two dinners at Lost Lake Lodge last month. The first was fabulous. Every entree was delicious and the new system this year of offering 3 sides for the table to share worked well too. My snapper came with fresh veggies and a tasty sauce. The walleye preparation was pleasing to eye as well as the stomach, and the... More

We ate here on a rainy evening in August. The view from our window table looking over the lake was absolutely beautiful. The many course dinner with wine pairings was delicious, and the service was very fine.
