Brought the wife and kids here for dinner. They were so accommodating and the food, decor and staff were great. This is a must-stop-at restaurant for us from now on when we pass through New Ulm!

Friendly staff, neat lil play area for the kids, big selection of housemade baked goods, many coffee and tea options, and entree options that... More

Stopped by twice today. Once to get a snack before the movie and again after for late lunch. Coffee, sandwiches, salads, energy bars, scones. I would go back and have it all again but I will want to try something new because I won't be disappointed.

We stopped for lunch while passing through New Ulm (a very attractive small city) based on TA reviews. We were not disappointed; in fact we were delighted. It is a fun casual Bistro with an interesting and varied menu. You order at the counter and your food and beverage is brought to your table. The atmosphere is casual and interesting.... More

Mix of ecletic and home cooking in old historic building. Relax by the fire place while surfing the internet. Try the stuffed mushrooms and chicken pot pie.

I rated this as a 2: 4 for food and coffee quality, 1 for service. Four of us went in for breakfast today and had the bacon breakfast sandwich, daily scramble, maple bacon muffin, blueberry scone, and an Americano. Food and coffee were delicious, but the service was poor. The male counter clerk at 9:30 (he didn't gave a name... More

As advertised. This is a unique establishment for rural America. Outstanding good and drink, and terrific staff. Prices are pretty good too!

Description
Known for it's locally roasted coffee and espresso drinks, fresh scones, pastries, pastas, baguette sandwiches, pot pies, soups, salads, and funky atmosphere. During the Summer and Fall enjoy lunch or dinner on the outdoor patio, stop by for an Schells Beer or glass of Morgan Creek Wine, and some Bruschetta. Great food in an completely restored old town building, large open ceilings, exposed brick walls, lots of great character!
